My enlistment is already on Monday. I haven’t paid my remaining balance for T3 with the campus being closed for several days, so I’ll probably be on hold. And yk how long these things take to process online. Like are we seriously sticking to the calendar despite all these suspensions? there’s already been so much delay can’t we catch a break 😭

Hi! Ab psych graduate from dlsu. I took a break after grad so I’ve been unemployed for a few months now.

I really want to start job hunting but I’m overwhelmed and don’t know where to start 💀 I plan to apply in HR roles.

I’m also worried my resume isn’t strong enough. My only work experience is my OJT in a clinic. I joined orgs and handled projects but not sure if those experiences are relevant to HR. I’m also not a latin honor.

For AB Psych grads who went into HR (esp those in the same position as me), what companies would you recommend applying to as a fresh grad? How did you improve your resume and prepare for interviews? I’m also pretty anxious during interviews and tend to fumble when I’m nervous. 🥲

I’m hoping for a hybrid setup, and I’m also wondering what salary range is realistic for someone in my position. I was thinking ₱30k as a starting salary, but I genuinely don’t know if that’s too much, too little, or reasonable?

hello, i borrowed a book in the library about a month ago. I keep renewing it because of suspensions, now I cannot renew it anymore! :< tomorrow is suspended so I cannot return it. What can I do? I heard the fee of this is 20php everyday and I don’t want to spend that much 😭

ID126 here.. LPEP is starting to get closer and closer, and I'm beginning to feel really really nervous. In all honesty, this is a completely new life for me. I did not grow up wealthy and I never really had any friends, but in unexpected turn of events- I got into DLSU! I gave up my slots on SBU and Ateneo and don't regret anything. Something about La Salle spoke to me no other universities have.

I'm just really tired of always being alone, always being jealous of people who have friends to make memories with. I'm tired of getting left behind, and always chosen last. I genuinely want to better myself and meet new people.. I want to make college worth it and I want to feel welcomed. I'm just really scared.

Any tips or stories from people who were once in my shoes?

Hellooo I was offered all the programs in both my DSHAPE and Grade-based Prequalifications. I already have my eyes set at Accountancy pero I'm deciding whether to take another degree with it.

I'm really interested in both Accountancy and Economics to the point na I want to pursue them both at the same time pero I don't know how the double degree system works.

Here are some questions I thought of pero no one to ask:

1. What's the difference between DSHAPE Lane and Academy Lane?

2. What's the retaining grade for the double degree?

3. Can you just drop the other degree anytime?

4. Do you think its worth it to pursue two degrees?

5. For those who took the same program or is currently in a double degree program, how's the workload?

Also, I'm on fin-aid (75%) so I dont think money is an issue

I hope DLSU brings back Archer’s Eye to know the situation sa labas ng campus. It really pisses me off na nasa biyahe na ako saka magsususpend. With Archer’s Eye back in the day, we can already assess if we’ll proceed if papasok or not.

I have an appointment that i really wouldn’t want to cancel🥹 Realistically, would i be able to make it there from taft?

I am genuinely wondering if my situation is still normal and acceptable.

Context: I am from GCOE, on my last term, and only taking one subject which is a pre-boards course for engineering (a course designed to prepare you for the board exam). Mind you, this is my THIRD TAKE of this subject, and it looks like I am failing it again this term. More than 60% of the class fail this course every term. I know people who are already on their 5th take. Most of my batchmates are also on their 3rd and 4th take. Yung sections namin umaabot ng 5 sections every term, 120+ students in total and I would say at least 80% are retakers. Mahirap talaga yung course, imagine every single lesson in your program cramped in one subject AND harder.

God knows how hard I study just to pass this course. Some of my friends took lessons and enrolled in review centers but for some reason, we still could not pass this course.

Skill issue ba ito ng mga students? Or is there genuinely something wrong with the system? We give feedback at the end of every term on what could be improved with the course and the teaching, pero walang nangyayari. No curving and no remedials which honestly I get naman.

I really don’t know at this point. This is the only course I have left, and failing it again and again has been taking a heavy toll on me. I just can’t accept all the time and money I am wasting on this one particular course. Binibigay ko na lahat, pero hindi pa rin ako pumapasa. I don't know how to tell my parents, its just so disappointing.

My grades have been improving with every quiz naman and I feel more confident studying now pero bagsak pa rin ako. Hindi ko maintindihan anong problema.
