Lpep

Just wanted to preface this that I am actually so dumb for not knowing this until now considering literally everyone around me knew about this f fact 💀

I am an id 121 (delayed and pandemic batch) and almost done with my course (few majors, internship, and thesis left). I just knew now na lpep is a prereq for graduation and i did not attend at all until to this day (i think i attendes but left halfway)

So I was wondering if anyone in the same or similar situation as me, how did you resolve this? Did you guys just attend lpep as a senior? Who do I inquire about this if ever?

I know this is pathetic and dumb for not knowing this fact despite being in dlsu for so gdmn long. I know this, I just want to know what I can do about this now. Please help 🙏

Decision making for DLSU

It has always been my dream of studying at DLSU because it offers my dream course, Legal Studies and Sustainable Development (AB-LSSD). Ever since I became interested in international law, I’ve wanted to become an international criminal lawyer or work for the United Nations someday. I also discovered that DLSU has organizations such as Model United Nations, which I believe would help me grow or gain experience, and pursue my passion even more.

However, my family does not have enough financial ability to support my studies at DLSU since it is expensive. My grandfather was willing to sponsor my education, but my elder aunt, who manages his bank account, objected because studying there is expensive. Because of this, I applied for the DLSU St. La Salle Financial Assistance Grant. Our family’s annual household income is below PHP 450,000, and I graduated from Senior High School with a 96% GWA. I also learned that the scholarship offers an allowance.

I am also considering applying for part-time jobs, such as working in cafés or doing freelance work, to help support myself financially while studying.

My aunt often tells me that studying at La Salle would only be a liability because of its “sosyal” culture XD, but I see it differently. For me, DLSU is not just about the title or prestige, but it is about the opportunities, connections and experiences that align with my goals and passion. She wants me to study instead at Manuel L. Quezon University or Philippine School of Business Administration, but I believe DLSU can provide more opportunities that would truly help me grow and prepare for the career I dream of pursuing.

She also mentioned that she knew students before (1990's or 2000's I believe), whose scholarship allowances from La Salle were delayed. However, I also believe that the system may have already changed and improved over time.

We also live in Quezon City, which makes DLSU quite far from our home. However, I already have a driver’s license, and I am currently saving money in hopes of buying a motorcycle (2nd hand) that I can use for transportation to school.

Because of these factors, making a decision about studying at DLSU has become emotionally difficult for me, as it is hard to let go of an opportunity that I believe could help shape my future. Should I consider studying at other universities, or should I continue pursuing my dream of studying at La Salle? (Please help me decide)

For scholarship recipients with auto renew: did your discount reflect na in Archers Hub or in your EAF?

It's past the automatic renewal day na kasi, supposedly May 18-19, but nothing's updated for me on the website.

What if you could enlist before your appointment slot opens? I think I figured it out.

DLSU still hasn't figured out course sniping after all these years. They hyped Archers Hub as the Animosys killer — faster, better, the whole pitch. But come enlistment day? Same story. Crashes at peak load, surprise maintenance windows, and you're just sitting there refreshing and praying a slot opens up before you lose another night of sleep.

As an alumnus witnessing all this, I got fed up. So I did what any reasonable person would do — I reverse engineered how Archers Hub works under the hood.

The result: a course sniper that's faster than any auto clicker, skips the slow UI entirely, and automatically generates your EAF and sends it to your email. No manual navigation, no doomscrolling through a laggy site, no gambling your schedule on whether your fingers are fast enough.

But here's where it gets interesting. I'm currently testing one final hypothesis — enlisting before your appointment slot even opens. If it works the way I think it does, non-Dean's Listers could potentially enlist alongside the first wave of DLs.

Consider it giving back to the community.

I already have the data. Next enlistment season will tell.

LGL Thesis & Practicum

Hello fellow LGL students! What do you think are the pros and cons of starting your thesis & practicum a term earlier than what is indicated in your flowchart (3rd year last term instead of 4th year first term)?

Change of Program

I'm a St. La Salle Scholarship applicant and I wanna change my program. IF granted the scholarship, I don't want to shift after 3 terms cuz they say shifting is not allowed for SLS grantees. Can I request for a change of program before enrollment or should I email them as soon as possible even though the result for SLS hasn't been released yet?

ST. LA SALLE

I revised my personal essay a couple hours before the scholarship portal closed, and I just wanna ask if I needed to click the 'submit' again since I changed a file in my application? I had already completed everything and submitted my application last Wednesday but decided to revise my personal essay.

All I did was upload but didn't click submit again. So I was wondering if that made my new essay go through?
