Hi people!

I recently adopted a puppy labeled by the shelter as a German shepherd husky mix and when enrolling him on Banfields wellness plan they DNA tested him and it came back as Chesapeake bay retriever husky malamute even wolf and calupoh I was shocked. Now I’m wondering about my big boy- he’s a 5 year old “lab Husky mix” is what he was labeled as at the shelter when I adopted him. He’s 85lbs and EXTREMELY hairy this boy needs hair trims every two weeks. I adopted him in north California. He loves water and playing fetch.

They’re mom came up one day and not even a day later boom, 13 puppies, my vet thinks they may have different fathers cause besides they’re looks, they’re temperament, character, likes, dislikes are all polar opposite. I included a pic of a couple siblings and mom, maybe that’ll help.

Ps: all the puppies were adopted, mom was heart worm positive and it was fairly bad, but still got a foster who was willing to do treatment.

She’s a 2 year old rescue from Alabama, we were told from the rescue she’s some kind of schnauzer mix. She does have the wire coat and mustache. She’s pretty shy, but more confident around me and other dogs. She’s a big couch potato who loves to cuddle.

Shelter told me he’s a hound mix, after research he kinda looks like he has coonhound in him. Any ideas? Also he is 4 months old so still a puppy for sure

I got him on Facebook marketplace for free, previous owners told me he was a Rottweiler, I don’t believe he is. I’ve taken photos and asked ai and they all tell me German shepherd. It would be cool if he was, and I don’t know how old he is.

Adopted her from a shelter in southern Mexico, I would assume she’s a regular village dog but her curly tail and coat pattern got me wondering

Thank you all for your help, after much reflection I have decided she is a village dog with a fancy tail. I adopted her in Yucatan and we call mixed-breed dogs "Malix Peek'" which is mayan for "Mixed Dog" (-:

When I got her and her brother, they were supposed to be full heeler. Buttt Moose has this circular tail and her colors dont match up with heelers. Im just wondering what she could be mixed with, or if this is just a random thing. Her brother Bear looks exactly like a blue heeler. She has allllll the personality traits of a heeler haha. Just looking for opinions. Thanks yall

hi everyone! this is my dog dory! we got her 2 days ago and she is an absolute joy. she’s a rescue mixed breed from the bush (australia). i was wondering what breeds she may be! she’s 6months and around 15kg. thankyou!

Recently rescued this puppy, he’s the biggest goofball you’ve ever seen lol
Anyway, I’ve done google searches to try and figure out what breeds he may be, I’m sure he’s a mix, but I keep getting different responses. From pit, to jack russel, to boxer, minpin, even corgi (really 🤨) ….anyone have any input? He’s super hyper which is fine, I was looking for a dog to help me start being more active so that’s a good thing! He’s a very fast learner, he’s picking up on everything -knock on wood- that we’ve been working on in a short amount of time. He does have severe separation anxiety, but from what I know he spent most of his life locked in a crate made for a little chihuahua. Poor thing. If anyone has anybody ideas I’d appreciate it! Not that it really matters, I’m just curious.
