I already know, but I need to know if you know what he is.

He’s a mix, I know who his parents were- but there’s a reason I really need to see what everyone thinks he is 1st…. Please and thank you!!

Edit➡️
He’s half Bluetick Coonhound, and half Staffy.

So many think he’s a boxer, so it wouldn’t be difficult to say he’s coonhound/boxer when moving into an apartment, can have his vet put coonhound mix on his paperwork.

I have to move to an apartment for a year and I refuse to give up my pup, he’s not a threat to anyone, he’s well trained, loves cats/dogs/people, not pray driven so I don’t feel bad bending the truth.

Our old boy past away and we never got a DNA test.

We lost him to cancer😔

This dog. Wow. He was very much in tune with my husband at the emotional level. This dog could read you like a book and just "knew" how to approach you. He was very adventurous, loving, interactive with the world around him. Definitely used his nose a lot.

My husband rescued him from a puppy mill in Hope Mills, NC 12 years ago, they did EVERYTHING together... and said his heart will forever be in a million pieces 😭 He's definitely a hound of some sort. His hair was coarse. Had an underbite.

But what do you guys think. Redbone mix? German shep mix maybe?

Hey! New here, any guesses on what breed she is?

Just under 5 months old and 16ish lbs. Pretty lanky and lean, 15 inches at the shoulder. Vet thinks she’ll be 35-40 lbs and 20-22 inches.

Super smart, loves to sniff. When she sees something, she has a sort of hunting dog stance with her legs stretched out behind her.

Other traits: Black streak on tail, very vocal with all sorts of noises, completely stretches out when she lies down.

Thanks!

TL;DR, she’ll be medium sized and sleek, has many hunting dog traits.

Nancy's DNA results are in!

It's been a month now since I started fostering Nancy through Helpless Hounds and she's recovered enough from her initial medical drama to get comfortable and start to be very naughty- which I'm so grateful for! Heartworm treatment is brutal and I'm not looking forward to her feeling sick again after her injections, but she's fully transformed into a loony coony now that she's put on weight and had a month of meds!

I'm surprised by her results! I was 100% convinced there was some sighthound in there! I know DNA results only go back three generations and they don't account for bad breeding, but I never expected 100% Walker.

If anyone has experience with keeping a very active coonhound calm during heartworm treatment I'd love to hear it. I'm scared!

Pitbull and what?

They're obviously Pittie mixes, but I'm wondering what bully breed exactly and what other breeds they could be? I personally think APBT, they're not large heavy dogs at all. The first one is 45 pounds, the second is 30 pounds. I was told Pitbull and Labrador Retriever mix, which I don't deny but I'm wondering if there's anything smaller in there possibly. They are siblings

Woody aka Woodward (like Squidward from Spongebob lol)

We adopted 5 year old Woody 3 weeks ago. We thought he was lab, shepherd and greyhound. The vet thought he had greyhound and the groomer thought whippet. We’ll see when the DNA test comes!

Thoughts on this gentleman’s breed

He is about 8 months old now, 42lbs, and QUITE lazy/chill. We were told GSD and husky, but his energy levels don’t seem to match those breeds too well. Any thoughts would be appreciated! I might get a DNA test eventually, but thought I’d ask here first. Thanks

Any ideas on what he is?

I’m gonna buy and Embark test soon, however, he’s 6 months old, 50lbs, and all legs. Pretty big paws too. Shelter told me he was most likely a Shepherd x rhodesian ridgeback, except I don’t see ridgeback at all.

Anyone know his breed??

The shelter had no guesses. He’s 6 months today, big paws, and weighs ~ 50lbs. We thought he may be a coonhound mix.

Anyone know what breed she is?

I know she’s a poodle mix of some type but I’m wondering what the other breed is. I was thinking Portuguese water dog x poodle but I’m not totally sure. She’s 3 years old and she’s very smart and eager to please. She loves rivers and her webbed feet make swimming easy for her. Her tail and ear hair is absolutely gorgeous and doesn’t tangle easily. She doesn’t shed and when her hair is longer it’s a loose wavy pattern instead of tight curls. She’s also very agile and can jump about 4 feet 3inches.

Saved this dude from an abusive living situation

I don’t know dogs well enough to know his particular breed and want to know in advance so I can give the treat that is best suitable, he is very young and his testes have not dropped, he is very scared and will only stand and and walk to the bathroom.

I'm assuming she is what I was told but I just want some extra opinions?

This is Lily, she's an 8.5 year old heeler, border collie, rottie, German shepherd mix. I met her parents and her mom looks like a rottie with some white, and her father looks like a small German shepherd. I'll include pics lol, obviously she's backyard bred, we got her before I knew anything about dogs and I paid 150$ for her off of Kijiji.

Just a few things on her, she's quite small, she's around 40lbs. Shes incredibly well behaved and trained well. But when training as a puppy she bit ankles a lot, she hasn't done that since then though. She loves to learn and knows a ton of tricks. Her recall is fool proof and she's insane for a game of fetch. Shes slowing down a bit now but she won't let that stop her. She's genuinely the best dog I could have ever asked for and her breed doesn't matter to me I'm just curious!

Posting her parents in the comments!

Need confirmation.

Got this boy 2 months ago, and was told his mom was a Border Collie, with no clue what the Father was.

After much searching, asking, and general research, I seem to think his dad was a Schnauzer. What do y'all think?
