Can you spot the two lovers on that painting ?
What do you think of my drawing style?
While I never intended to limit myself to drawing in only one style, I feel, and a couple of friends tell me, that the way I draw things—faces or just objects—is often identifiable as belonging to a particular style. What do you think of my style in general? What does it remind you of?

Love Will Tear Us Apart, Emmett, Fineliner/Paper, 2026
Studying cicada (&WIP's), which took so oooo long to finish.
(if wrong flair, sorry. Can't find "colour pencils")
It started out as just the top right cicada, for fun. Ending up into this when I came across some bio-archive online with all kinds of science papers, including very old scanned in books on cicada. The bugs are drawn with Bruynzeel simple pens. The paper and desk are drawn using Derwent chromaflow.
It took me about 60 - 80 hours.
Study of David’s eye from a cast
Would have liked to work the cast shadow a bit better but I was going slightly insane so let’s just not look at it too much. What would you do to enhance the realism?
Little environment study!
Couldn't resist adding a dino :)
Messed up my hand sketches so I drew some geese instead
Any tips on drawing hands... 🙏
