My first casualty 🫡

Have had shrimps in the tank since October. After several generations, one finally thought he was advanced enough to evolve. RIP little buddy, you almost ended up in my breakfast

I don’t have shrimp but have nowhere else to post this pic of a shrimp plant I took. 🦐🌺 So beautiful and shrimp-like 🥹

Jumpscare in the kitchen

Probably a piece of paper towel haha but initially I thought one of my shrimp became a mega athlete and made it 30ft from their tank in my room to the kitchen counter

New Rule.

I've added a new rule. All posts featuring a dead shrimp will have to be marked NSFW. I will go back and add the NSFW tag to post featuring dead shrimp. Fossilized or Shrimp that has been dead (Mantis Shrimp post) for a while will not need a NSFW tag.

Please tell me how you feel about this rule and if you want changes to it. Also to poster I would like it if you added the NSFW tag to your post featuring dead shrimp while I'm also adding the tag.

Houdini

Unfortunately Houdini’s trick didn’t pan out this time. Found him after returning from holidays. The first time I successfully saved him, this time not so lucky. 🦐

my dry, idiot son

two of my amano shrimp, whose hubris cannot be overstated, had been missing for 5 days. I have found one of my idiot sons, and recovery operations continue for the other. He survived a 2 foot fall to crawl around in dust and debris for three more feet before, miraculously, giving up. No evolving today 🙏🏻
