I’m looking for earplugs that make it feel like I’m deaf

Hello guys. I’ve never used Reddit before so I apologize in advance.
I have a problem at work where people are playing music out of a speaker at a volume that gives me splitting headaches and ear aches.
They will not turn it down and I have talked to the office about it at my work and there’s been no solution so far.
I’m looking for foam or hard earplugs so that I cannot hear any of them speaking or the music that is way too loud at all. Would appreciate your help!

I would rather get hearing damage than wear earplugs... help!

I like to go to concerts and festivals, mostly EDM. I've only tried a few ear plugs such as the regular cheap foam ones and eargasm earplugs. Both made the music so muffled and unenjoyable I took them out shortly after placing them in my ears.

Has anyone actually found earplugs that protect their ears but also lets them enjoy the music?

Which earplugs should I get (low occlusion)?

I struggle with loud spaces, chewing noises, whistling ect...

I have tried the Flare Calmer with the extra filter but it felt like nothing changed and I have also tried Loop earplugs (either Engage or Quiet can't remember) but the occlusion was horrible, my breathing and voice sounded so loud.

I am debating between Curvd, Happy Ears (I've seen very mixed opinions) and Eargasms, which one has the least occlusion while still having a decent noise cancelling effect? Or any other recomandations?

Recommendation for EDM concerts

What do you all genuinely recommend as the earplugs that don’t distort the sound the most? I went to a concert last night wearing knockoff eargasms and when I would take one out for a second, I noticed the higher pitched sounds were almost totally gone when I had them in, and honestly a lot of the vocals too. It was pretty much just the bass that I could hear. I’d like to hear what the music was actually made to sound like. I get that the point of earplugs is for protection, but I really want a pair that doesn’t make the artist’s music literally sound different. And I also get that at the end of the day, putting anything in your ear is going to compromise at least a little bit of the sound… nothing will sound as good and clear as my real ears lol
