Inquiry about customer service hiring

Hello y’all, I applied to “customer service roles” on dec 26. I was immedieately called to hirevue interview. After completing the interview, I haven’t heard from them till 1st of may - the day that they sent me the email above. I have uploaded the requested documents. My application still seems to be under review. Has anyone else waited for this long?
Appreciate your help, thanks

Is it a good time to apply?

Since the situation in Dubai and flights getting canceled I see a lot of cabin crew struggling with hours of flights. Is it a good time to apply for this job?

CSR application under review (emirates)

Hi, does anyone have any idea about the application status changed from assessment completed to under review?

Does “application under review” mean rejection?

I applied on 16th and today, on 19th it still shows application under review. No updates or anything. Does that mean I’m rejected? Do they not send mails to tell you if you’re selected or rejected?

Email to apply for CSR after FI and under review status for Cabin Crew application

Hi any advice would be appreciated.. Has anybody had an email after passing Cabin Crew Final Interview to apply for Customer Service Roles? My cabin crew application has been under review for several weeks after my AD, I have had numerous phone calls requesting documentation and additional photos, and I have now received an email requesting I apply for a CSR, I have had no rejection email however my status has changed to interview completed, just wandering if anybody has experienced this. So confused! Thanks.

Waiting time for a response is too long

I just checked the emirates portal and from today until the 25th of June there will be 107 open days/assessment days. However, I’ve seen all over the internet people waiting around 2 months for an answer after the final interview… I don’t understand this. Why continue with this many open days if they already have thousands of applicants waiting for an answer? And besides that, as far as I have seen, people are, at the moment, waiting around 6 months for the DOJ. In 2024 people were traveling to UAE 3 weeks after the final interview.

How toxic is “toxic”, really?

I’ve heard a lot of mixed things about working as cabin crew in Emirates especially about the culture being “toxic,” with people saying crew report each other for the pettiest things and that there’s a lot of politics/backstabbing internally.

Is it something you feel daily (like constantly walking on eggshells), or is it more exaggerated online? How common is the reporting culture, and how much does seniority affect your day-to-day experience?

Would genuinely love honest insights—the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I just sent my resume and received this mail. Please help me understand

This is what opens up, I do not think I would be able to attend the one available event which is just next week in my city. There is another option of reconsidering my option, if I choose this, will it lower my chances? Does that mean there might not be another interview round in my city? What all are the possibilities? Please help a girl out

I need help for applying

Hi guys for the past 18 months i have been trying to get an invitation to an assessment day and every time i apply i get rejected after cv submission i used templates used by other crew members did everything as i was told i used key words mentioned my experience is customer service and volunteering kept my cv simple ( didn’t use complicated words) and i followed the instructions for pics and still got rejected and i don’t understand why .
And btw i have a lot of friends who have the same exact problem
Is there any trick somehow candidates use to get an invitation ?
or is there any inside standards HR use to choose candidates that is not known for applicants ?
Or could it be because of the huge number of applicants?
And i would really appreciate any piece of advice and tips and thank you so much for taking the time to read this and replying 💗💗💗

Emirates and Asthma

Hi everyone,

I made it to the final interview and was selected as one of the 3 finalists.

Now I am super nervous - not just about whether or not I will get the Golden Call, but also about whether I will be allowed to work at all.

I have eosinophilic asthma - I am pretty stable and function normally as long as I take my meds regularly. No asthma attack in my history.

I take 2 doses of Foster (inhalative corticoide) in the morning and 2 doses in the evening and also Singulair (Montelukast) once a day, mainly for preventative reasons.

I very rarely need my emergency inhaler, maybe once every few months.

So I’d say I am very stable with my Asthma.

I do worry now though as I heard rumors (one coming from a Girl who worked for Emirates 10 years ago) that they kick out anyone with a medical history. So basically every person who isnt in perfect health.

I got recommendations like „just dont tell them“ from friends as I do think my lung function could pass the medical, but I dont really wanna start my professional life with a lie in case that I get the job and I also worry about the implications.

I am stressed now as well though that I will get kicked out immediately once I completed the medical and tell them the truth.

What would you recommend me to do?

Do I have a chance with the truth or am I delusional?

I personally still think it would be too risky to just not mention it - or do you guys think otherwise?

Also, would I even be fine HEALTH-WISE in case I dont tell them or do you guys think it could he risky for my health too?

Thanks so much for all answers and opinions!

The glamorous lifestyle of flight attendants (?)

I know a AED12K salary is considered good if you’re not paying rent or anything like that, but it still doesn’t make any sense how many FAs online can live that luxurious lifestyle. Cipriani dinners, first class flights, Pilates classes, nice cars, etc. it just doesn’t make sense how someone earning AED12K can afford all of that. Any insider here willing to explain? Lol

Starting a summer internship at Emirates soon what should I expect?

Hey everyone, I recently landed a summer internship at Emirates and I’m super excited but also a bit nervous. For anyone who has interned there or worked there before — what’s the general culture like? What should I expect day-to-day?

Any tips on how to make the most of it, stand out, or things you wish you knew before starting would be really appreciated.

Also curious — how formal is the environment? And is it easy to network internally?

Thanks in advance
