Hi y’all! My gf’s brother is getting married in Minnesota in early October. The dress code is “cocktail attire,” but that is so very binary. Like the options are a) dress, b) jd vance cosplay.
Anybody have other ideas? Also, I understand: this is not my wedding, and I’m not trying to draw attention to myself. All I want is to feel comfortable in my own skin.
Today was finally supposed to be the day I order all those cute plushies I have been looking to get for over a week.
Instead I let myself get baited into wasting it by what amounts to explaining to a wall why the graffiti on it is bigotry, over and over.
So, anyway, it got me to finally join here. Looking forward to the sillies :3
Not today, though. It was actually the entire day, after all, and it's already time to sleep.
Tomorrow comes, and with it a new calm (and way too many plushies).
Edit: We made up, and talked out our differences. Seems like I might've made a friend.
Spent another full day on that, though. Three meals in two days, one if them being a smoothie. No garlic bread, shops closed. Still haven't gotten myself those plushies.
