Meta employee allegedly abused internal tools on my account. Now I’m blocked from Meta Verified + Support Cases
Hi everyone. I’ve exhausted every official channel. I believe my account is being restricted as retaliation for reporting abuse, and I need help.
Timeline
Unauthorized Access Found: 4 unknown accounts were linked to my Instagram Accounts Center.
Other changes I found:
- Instagram+ subscription was disabled
- Facebook Profile was unlinked and blocked from re-adding
- Advanced Protection was turned OFF. I had it on 2 of my 4 accounts.
- 2FA + selfie protection + 10 year old email + strong password were all active. Login history shows only me. It should be impossible to log in.
Scale: 4 of my OG Instagram accounts were affected. 2M+ followers total.
Reported to Meta: Opened Case and provided evidence.
Went Public: Posted here on Reddit. Post reached Top 1%.
Temporary Fix: For ∼2 days after going public, I could access payment and support again.
Restrictions Returned: Now everything is blocked again.
Current Issues
Cannot purchase Meta Verified: . Tried on 2 accounts, 20+ times. I changed my name to exactly match my government ID and birthday. Still fails. [Screenshot 1]
Blocked from Support Chat: for 24+ hours. [Screenshot 2]
Payment issues: Started at the same time as the unauthorized access.
Account Restrictions: New flags put on my account after I reported this.
For context: I used to get approved for Meta Verified within 1 hour with no issues.
Why I’m concerned
Meta Trust & Safety employees have internal tools that can place flags to block payments, verification, and support access.
The timing is what worries me: restrictions started right after I reported the breach, and got worse after I went public.
I have filed a formal complaint with the EU DSB for potential GDPR violations and data abuse.
What I’m asking
Has anyone else had restrictions placed after reporting internal abuse?
Can Meta please conduct a full audit of Case and confirm in writing that all restrictions/flags have been removed?
Please share this. If internal tools can be misused like this, it can happen to anyone.
Proof: Screenshots attached.
I’m not asking for special treatment. I’m asking for my accounts to be restored to normal and for Meta to confirm that no employee can abuse access like this.
Thank you for reading.
