I’m so done with this fucking piece of shit.

Hi everyone. I’m having an issue with messages sent from my Facebook page. When I receive a comment on a post, I send a reply via Messenger, but lately, these messages haven't been reaching the clients. Messages still get through to clients I’ve interacted with before; the problem is with new ones. Could you please help me? Thanks! 🙏

I blocked someone on Instagram, and our chat disappeared. I’m absolutely sure I never deleted the chat. I later unblocked him, but the chat was still gone. I searched for it in my DMs every day and couldn’t find it, and I’m also 100% sure I never restricted him.

Then, after about a month, I suddenly searched my DMs and found the entire old chat again, but it appeared as a Message Request, even though there were no new messages at all.

He never blocked me — I was the only one who blocked him.

So what exactly could have happened here?? 😭

This problem started like 6 or even more months ago. First it was on **Instagram and Messenger**. My messages for this person started to disappear in front of their eyes. They would get the notification but when they would open the chat messages would be gone. My messages would appear to send normally on my side, but she would not receive them. Then we moved to **Whatsapp.** There first few days were okay, but for some reason we went back to **Messenger.** On **Messenger** i sent an intimate picture and after that her account started to restrict my account. We stopped chatting on **messenger**, because my account would also get muted and restricted automatically. On **whatsapp** i got blocked automatically on her account after that picture.

Then we saw that on **tiktok** my account was also muted and the messages were disappearing.

We also tried **X/Twitter** and there the messages wouldn't disappear but her account was automatically reporting my account posts and some text also.

On Discord the messages would stay but her account would sometimes unfriend me automatically.

The really strange part is that this problem seems to be specific to me and her. She receives messages from other people normally, and I can receive messages from her normally. Other people can message her without these problems. I can also message other people normally.

This problem started while I was using Iphone 15 and she was using Samsung Galaxy (i dont remember which one but older version). Now she is using Iphone 11 and we tried chatting on **Imessages.** And some of the messages started to disappear in her eyes, few seconds after i text her.

I also bought new phone number and tried it on my old Iphone 11 and the imessages were still disappearing. So we use simple text messages but it is still annoying.

I’m wondering if there could be some kind of corrupted contact/account association, messaging identity issue, server-side restriction, spam/abuse detection issue, or something linking my account/number to her account in a way that causes my messages to be filtered or removed. I’m not saying that this is definitely what is happening; I just cannot figure out why the problem follows us across different apps and devices.

For iMessage in particular, I contacted Apple support and they informed me to contact on different day to get a call from senior support and i hope they will help somehow.

I would really appreciate only for imessages to work normally.

Has anyone had this happen before? And could it be that he sent me a message and then deleted it which made the chat come back as a message request?

Guys, can someone clearly explain this? If I accidentally followed someone, then I unfollowed and blocked them, and immediately deactivated both Facebook and Messenger, will they still see it in their notifications? Like, will they still see that I followed them?

I’m trying to log into my old Facebook account, but I’m stuck on a verification page.

The only options are to receive a code via an email address I no longer have access to, or via WhatsApp on a phone number I no longer have either.

There’s literally no alternative option to verify my identity, and I can’t find any way to actually contact Facebook support.

So basically, I’m the owner of the account, I know the login details, but I’m completely locked out because I no longer have access to two old recovery methods.

How is this supposed to be acceptable? Is there any way to actually reach Facebook and recover the account?

I got a new phone last week and got facebook setup on the new phone. Messenger and message history all transferred without issue. Desktop was working as normal

Today I go on my Laptop for the first time since my new phone, have to login but no biggie I do that. All goes well except messanger is not working. It asks to restore chats, I enter the pin and it says "There was an error while using the PIN code. Please try again" If I try a wrong pin it does say incorrect pin. Try the onetime code, it gets stuck in "validating code"

Try a private browser - same thing. Try my desktop - same thing.

Everything online says I need to delete the backup and redo it because of some "handshake mismatch" but I can't - that option is gone

Any ideas or have I just forever lost the ability to use messenger on any desktop?

Seriously... Whenever I type "met" for the tons of words that have those letters in my language, the text box loses focus, and Meta AI bullshit is shown. And I can't write anything else unless I focus the text box manually again. Then I write or delete one character and the Meta AI bullshit disappears while stealing focus again. The same goes with forward slash.

I had deactivated one of my Facebook accounts and was only using Messenger. Today,when I tried to log in,it asked me for an authenticator code.

The authenticator app I originally set up was Microsoft Authenticator. However, today, when I tried to log in,it was asking for a code from Duo or Google Authenticator,neither of which I ever set up. So, at this point, I don't have any way to provide those codes.

I have already submitted a photo of my NID card to Meta to recover the account. They said they would provide an update within 48 hours.

Now I want to know do I still have any chance of getting my Facebook account back?

I have many friends added to that account, I’m a member of many Facebook groups, and I also created my own Facebook group using that account. Losing access to it would be really difficult for me.

If anyone knows how I can recover the account or has faced a similar situation, please help me.

I've noticed that loads of messages from a chat I have on messenger with a friend have disappeared. Neither my friend nor I deleted them. Months worth of messages have gone. Why does this happen?

Messenger (Android) automatically suggests - and adds - words it automatically offers.
I made a mistake once of typing 'tge' instead of 'the' and I'm guessing I must have sent the message like that.

The problem is, Messenger now keeps showing it as a suggestion. Is there some way I can remove 'tge' somehow from the dictionary/ list of suggested words?

I need to make sure they can't access old messages in the chat. Is this possible? Can I just delete the chat for everyone?
