Fair Oaks Mall Development??
Anyone notice construction at Fair Oaks near the top of the old Lord and Taylor? Is sky zone going in the top? Fresh World in the bottom? Anything going in the remaining part of Sears upstairs? Or in forever 21?

If you are a regular here, you already know how valuable Reddit member recommendations can be. I’m an Atlanta based graphic designer and I recently landed a design and print job based in Fairfax, VA. The deadline was tight (5 days start to finish/delivery).
Unable to put that kind of logistic stress on my Atlanta printer (I wanted a Konica digital press or comparable). I came to Reddit looking for recommendations and let me tell you, I struck pure gold when I found a post here recommending McCabes’s Printing Group.
My account rep at McCabe’s was Antonio. He worked closely with me over a five day timeframe. There were numerous client based hiccups on our end near the finish line; emotions with my client were running high. McCabe’s customer service was rock solid and their print quality was stellar. I have 35 years in the design and production business and I was very impressed with their professionalism (steady and true under stress) and delivery (delivered awesome print quality).
If you’re looking for a reliable printer with outstanding customer service that produces quality printing, I highly recommend McCabes’s Printing Group of Fairfax, VA.
Hey all — thinking about doing a small kitchen refresh in my townhouse and trying to get a sense of what I’m getting myself into.
I’m planning:
– refacing cabinets
– new deep sink + faucet
– quartz counters
– simple backsplash
– no layout changes
If you’ve done something like this recently, I’d love to hear:
• what your total budget ended up being
• which contractor you used (and if you’d actually hire them again)
• any tips, surprises, or stuff you wish you knew before starting
Just trying to get a realistic idea before I start calling around. Appreciate any advice from people who’ve been through it.
Anyone have experiences with Fair Oaks Inova Birthing Center? Specifically interested in Midwifery care & lower intervention birth experiences. If so, do you choose one provider, are you rotated through just midwifes or are you rotated through midwifes and the OBGYNs?
FTM & SUPER early but just trying to get info!
Also, how early is too early to reach out to them to schedule a first appt? I know they probably won’t take me in until 8-10 weeks.
Hi folks, used to frequent Red Pepper in Fair Lakes but they closed. Can anyone recommend some good Chinese around Fair Lakes/ Fair Oaks area?
