Are prefabs “looked down upon”?

Hey all!

Was just curious if anyone used pre fab structures in their camp.

Lately I’ve seen some discourse in comments that it’s “lazy” “uncreative” or something else. Kinda bummed me out. I really like some of them!

I shouldn’t care about what others think in a game, and I don’t really, just kind of curious what the general consensus is in the community.

My first camp is built around a waterfall in the north eastern part of the map. My second is just a hunters lodge decked out with decorations. I guess I’m curious if my vendor visitors “sneer” at my lodge camp 😅

What am I gonna do with these stamps?

I just finished my 3rd season, getting stamps on the 150 page and ended up with over 1000

No idea what to buy. I read union PA first but I don’t even use all the other PA’s I have. Sometimes hellcat during nukes but that’s about it

I never need anything else on scoreboard 150 so I just did stamps. I hate expeditions. I don’t have time for expeditions as you can see it took me this long to even get to 150. That’s about normal for me and take a break for a few weeks before new season

I’m not really looking for cold shoulder or auto axe.

What do ya think?

I have been sleeping on this thing for the longest time

Had to pose for the pic, come on...

Made myself a reverse onslaught explosive Dragon because I felt like finally trying it... and it's a beast, if I did my calcs right, it deals an average 5.5k damage without sneak attack bonus, love it so much I had to get it this absolutely dope skin. It can kill a mirelurk queen in 5 shots with sneak attacks. I love it so much, I'm surprised I haven't heard many talk about it.

Yes, it kinda shoots itself to pieces very fast, but it's dirt cheap to repair (8 adhesive 16 steel) and it packs a huge punch; reload isn't too bad with the reload speed perks and such.

I've paired it with an automatic plasma rifle as a secondary and I've been really enjoying myself.

The stats. Furious (for reverse onslaught, 27 stacks), explosive and durability. I plan on adding the killstreak reload buff 4 star mod to it whenever I find one.

Has anyone here ever tried running a complete pacifist build?

So my idea, which i have some inkling of how to set up the perks, is to try playing a character that simply abhors violence. Like a monk sort of character. Obviously combat is out of the mix, will have to earn XP by being at events... ricochet is about the only way the character will actually tag enemies. Acting as a medic at public events will be the main playstyle.

I was wondering if anyone here has tried something like this, or has any thoughts on the build requirements.

How To Thwart A Fissure Site Trap Camp!

I've been seeing people talk about these Fissure Site Trap Camps quite a bit lately, and I've been trying to figure out a way to bypass them for a minute now and I'm pretty sure I've figured out how to do it.

Basically you just need to place a power armor chassis in the "kill zone" then get into it and you shouldn't die as long as you stay in the confines of the kill zone. If you leave the kill zone and then re-enter it, even in that same power armor you will still die.

This should work with *any* power armor set up, including just using a power armor chassis. I don't know if it works for *every* fissure site trap camp spot, but it definitely worked for this location. This one was just above the White springs Golf Course pretty much.

But yeah, now you should be able to bypass the trap and buy the trap camper's definitely overpriced items! Goodluck!

Deathclaw disappeared

I had a Deathclaw in my camp and it just disappeared. I have pacifist activated because there was always some player who would start attacking him, so that can't be it. Does anyone know why? It took me several months to get it 🙁

Question on PA Set?

So, I’m looking to make a set of Vulcan PA to survive better & help me out with the raid content in the game, I’ll be using a full health commando/small guns VATS Crit ghoul build, so if anyone could help me figure out what legendary mods to use on the PA, I’d be eternally grateful! Once again, it’ll strictly be used for Raids.

Help? (Tank droids)

So, I'm kinda stuck om a few main and side quest; I cannot seem to be able to kill the massive tank droids. I'm running a cloaked sniper build. but the damage is negligible to these things. They also one-shot me.

Does anybody have an idea or should I just rebuild my character?

Edit: Thanks for all the tips people, I got me some researching to do!

Edit 2: It's the damn mouse wheel! That's how you target different body parts!

Why?

Can someone explain to me why it always seems like the high level people like 500+ always have stuff they are selling priced so high? even if its not even rare stuff?

Blood Sacrifice is AWESOME!

i finally got the gear together to try a Blood Sacrifice build, and man is it AWESOME! i already had a vampire's/rapid/vats optimized minigun with an accelerated barrel but i was just waiting to get the mods for my BOS Recon set. 3 Overeaters and 2 Regenerating along with the Spiritual Healer and maxed out Endurance makes me a nonstop KILLING MACHINE. i also used Glutton on all 5 pieces to keep my hunger and thirst in check, and oh boy what a difference this build makes. just making this post because i had no idea how effective this build could be, and if you have the resources and the plans you might want to try this out. endless VATS never seemed like it was possible until now.

This weeks reset sucks ass

Most of it is content they just had in the shop not even a month ago, there's nothing to buy. It's either barber shop stuff or recycled content (which I don't mind, gives new players like myself a chance to get old stuff. But not when you just had this same shit in here two weeks ago). I'm still new to 76 and was pretty excited for the reset because usually there's at least something good in there, i didn't think it could get this dry but apparently I was wrong. Hope something is worth buying next week because this week ain't it.

September update - legacy seasons

Update from Bethesda.

Source:

https://fallout.bethesda.net/en-US/news/fallout-76-inside-the-vault-introducing-legacy-seasons

Update:

We’re excited to introduce Legacy Seasons and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like.

Starting with “The Slasher” update this Fall, we will be bringing back one past season to sit alongside the current season so that everyone has a chance to earn rewards that they might have missed out on. Currently, a Legacy Season is planned to last for the span of one full season.

Legacy Seasons utilize the same ticket pool as normal seasons. This means where you spend your tickets is completely up to you. See something you like in the current season? Focus claiming rewards there. Did you miss out on an item you really wanted from a previous season? You can spend your tickets there as well.

The main difference between the two is that rewards in the Legacy Season must be claimed linearly. Current seasons will maintain their unlock flow.

For our veteran wastelanders, any reward that you claimed when the season originally ran (or any seasonal items you might have purchased through the Atomic Shop) will already be marked as claimed. Allowing you to immediately move onto the next reward. We have included a few new rewards in this Legacy Season, so make sure to take a quick browse to see what’s waiting for you.

We’ve put together the FAQ below to help answer some specific questions you might have.

FAQ

Will there be a new type of Season ticket for Legacy Seasons?

No new currency is being introduced for Legacy Seasons.

Can I progress in the current season and the Legacy Season at the same time?

Yes! You can use your tickets for rewards in the current season and/or the Legacy Season.

How long do Legacy Seasons run for?

Legacy Seasons are currently planned to run for the full length of the season.

Will the original game board be claimable as a reward for the Legacy Seasons?

We view the unique seasonal game boards as a special commemorable item. And because they’re great indicators of who was there when the season originally ran, we are choosing not to include them as a reward for returning legacy seasons.

Will there be changes to Daily and Weekly Challenges?

There are no changes currently planned for Daily and Weekly challenges alongside this first run of Legacy Seasons.

Will Legacy Seasons continue to rotate in the future? Will this be the last chance to claim rewards for Armor Ace and the Power Patrol in Cold Steel?

Our current plan is to rotate through Legacy Seasons. So, while this won’t be your last time to claim rewards from this season, it may be a while before it reappears.

Can you let us vote on what the next Legacy Season will be?

Yes, we can! Head over to the Bethesda Game Studios Discord or the Fallout 76 Subreddit to cast your vote between August 18, 2026, at 1 PM ET until August 21, 2026, at 1 PM ET!

Results from both spaces will be combined over the weekend, and we’ll announce the winning Legacy Season on August 25! The winning Legacy Season will begin alongside the release of our Winter update later this year.

What happens if I have already claimed all the rewards in the Legacy Season when it initially ran? Is there a bonus page?

There won’t be a bonus page for this first run of Legacy Seasons, but there is potential for us to add them in the future. Let us know what type of items you would like to see on a bonus page for Legacy Seasons.

Don’t forget, if you’ve claimed all the rewards from the initial run of a Legacy Season you should still check the page rewards. You might find a new reward or two added.

Will Legacy Season’s have their old gameboard art style and music?

Our goal is to maintain as much of the original experience as possible with the addition of a few new rewards. The music and art of the returning seasons will return, but the gameboard claiming experience will not.

Re-watching the TV show I noticed the two headed leach was superb bait from fallout76

Did anyone else notice this? I thought it was neat.

Classic toxic player

Be careful with this player. He's a classic toxic player from PC complete with a camp trap. I had nothing, just two steel units because I'd just joined, but for others, you might want to be careful...

It won't be of much use to report it here because sometimes I think that the solidarity between consoles is not the same as that between PCs so I could already expect others to tell me "cry or get used to it". I'm not particularly interested, just helping others though because that's my nature..

EDIT: Since in this world you always have to specify the pin or the straw needle, he started insulting me on the microphone at random even though it actually made me laugh. Camp is just a detail to pay attention to if you have a loot. 🙃

How is my setup? (Weapons n Perks)

Tldr: I feel like my build could be better, what am i missing, what armor do you suggest, what mods, what perks

So ive been working on a stealth build with this crossbow i found last week, i added the 4 star to it cause someone gave it to me for free, and its been amazing! Hand down the best weapon ive ever used so far, snd ever since i added hat trick and master archer it became even better, but i feel like the damage could still be..more, im level 145 but still early in the story (overseer overseen) cause i got back into the game last week after not playing for god knows how long, im trying to level up settlers rep to get the crossbow mods but thats taking forever, anything yall suggest?
