So I’m 4th on the waitlist for the paramedic program at my local college. There’s around 80 seats. I thought there would be movement after may 1 but no none at all spot didn’t move. What do my chances look like now? Is there still a chance.

If your an alumni or have done the prehealth course before can you tell me some tips on how to do very well.

Also if you also got accepted to fanshawe college (Woodstock) .
I also plan on studying at Seneca college for my practical nursing should i just do it at fanshawe

Also housing is it better to stay off campus or on campus I am also looking for housing what areas are the best to stay.safety is a massive requirement.i also dont have a car

I got accepted into both schools for prehealth please give me at the good bad ugly reason why i should pick or not pick the school

I already completed a Bachelor’s in Software Engineering and I’m planning to apply for Computer Programming and Analysis (CPA3) at Fanshawe College, Canada.

My goal is to enter the Canadian tech job market and eventually apply for PR.

From what I understand:

CPA3 is an Advanced Diploma (not a degree)
Duration is ~2.5–3 years
Includes co-op (not guaranteed)
Very practical (Java, C#, web dev, databases)
Mostly assignments + projects + some exams
I’m confused because academically it feels like a step down compared to my bachelor’s, but I’ve heard Canadian experience + co-op matters more than degree level for first job.

My questions:
Is CPA3 worth it after a CS/Software Engineering bachelor’s?

Does it help realistically for first tech job in Canada?

How is co-op competition in this program?

Would a master’s be a better option instead?

Any honest advice would help a lot

Does anyone know if this is good or bad and what my chance are for getting an offer?

Kinda freaking out, got low 90s in high-school but was denied practical nursing and waitlisted really high for bachelors of nursing. I know I should have applied to PHS2 as a backup a while ago but didn’t. I just sent in an admission request or whatever May 15th cause it said the program was still open. Probably not the right place to ask, but realistically is there a chance I won’t get in?

My waitlisted position is 31-40. Do I have a chance of getting in at all?

I graduated high school in 2021 and Im going into pre health this fall and my math foundation is rocky. im wondering if anyone can tell what to expect from the pre health math and if anyone who has already taken the program and went into it with. rocky foundation can tell me what there experience was like. im taking algebra and trig prep courses to do what I can to prepare

They said we'd get an email mid May but I haven't heard anything so far.

When registering for graduation it only allowed maximum of 4 tickets, I read somewhere that says graduates get 10 tickets. How do I get more?

Hello, I'm just wondering when we should receive the registration package via mail and invoice for a $250 deposit via email?

I'm checking webadvisor multiple times a day, everyday, but the status is still "confirmed" with $0 due.

Hey I was just wondering if I have to update my fan card over the summer term or if it will continue to work over the summer for the buses?

As well if I have to get a new card when the fall term start, I’m a first year going into second. So maybe I’m just spiralling?

I’m a grade 12 student and I want to take pre health and then go to Fanshawe for mrt. Is pre health at Niagara college accepted as a prerequisite for the mrt program or would I have to take it at Fanshawe?
