Hi everyone!

I'll be driving from Stratford to the campus 5 days a week. I didn't get the reserved parking. The only option now is parking at 6,5$ per day, which gets crazy expensive.
Any tips on where to park outside campus? And then walk or take the bus..?

I’m starting the fully online Business – Marketing program this fall and noticed something weird with the tuition page. When I applied, the 2025/26 page showed the total cost of the online program as $6,504.56. Now the 2026/27 page says the total is $12,378.79.

At first I thought tuition had somehow almost doubled, but if you actually add up the individual level fees on the same page you get $1,658.60 + $1,718.60 + $1,658.60 + $1,773.60 = $6,809.40. The old 2025/26 page had all four levels at $1,626.14, which adds up exactly to the old $6,504.56 total. So unless I’m missing something, the actual increase looks like about $300 and the $12,378.79 number is probably some kind of website/calculation error.

I checked a couple other business programs and some of them are showing similar $12k totals while others look normal, so it doesn’t seem completely isolated to Business – Marketing. I emailed Fanshawe’s Fees office with PDFs of the old and new pages and asked them to confirm what the correct total is. Has anyone else noticed this on their program page? I’ll update this when they reply.

I am not a fan of e-books (it's just not the same to read from a screen), and so I am wondering if there is any legitimate reason I should be buying the e-book over the hard copy of a book for Practical Nursing. Thanks! :)

Hi I got offer online course and in person course. I prefer staying home to manage time and my routine. But I wonder if video is old (few years old) then I feel it's waste of money. And also how's test and quizzes? I wonder how it is done online.

I’m going in to my second year of Office Administration - Health Services for September. I know in fourth semester there is a one month placement and I believe before you can do it you need to have a Heath Check and they have vaccination requirements dues anyone know what that all entails? Like do I have to get my doctor to sign off on something or can I just say I don’t have any infectious diseases or anything?
Also I remember during orientation they said they would help you find a placement but only if your average was above a certain level and everyone else had to find their own. Do they help everyone find one? What’s the process like for this? Is it 40 hours a week?
If anyone has any help with these questions I’d be very grateful. I just want to know as much as possible so I can prepare around work.
(If anybody so has any of the emails, updates, or instructions sent out for these things and is willing to send me copies so I can read them I’d be very thankful just dm meme)

Hey everyone, I'm starting this year and I have some questions about whats included in our tuition/fancard!

Does it include a bus pass, gym usage, and this is a stretch but potential store discounts (mainly for grocery stores in the area)?

If it makes any difference I'm living in traditional residence.

Wasn’t able to get into campus parking, any idea where the closest parking is otherwise?

Hey is anyone elses Authenticator being weird? I can’t sign back into my fanshawe email because it’s apparently sending a code to the app.. the app i’m trying to sign back into.. This is making it so I can’t get back into my outlook, should I go to IT or?

I emailed Fanshawe, went to Fanshawe, talked to coordinators, talked to Registrar yet no one can help me where is the PSW Pre-Placement Health Form, i couldn't find it online either only the "School of Nursing" unless that's it

Also wondering when is the deadline to finish all the Pre-placement requirements to submit into Synergy??? I would appreciate any help with this, i got everything aside from the fact if I'm using the right form or not

I am a current student at Fanshawe who lives in Kitchener doing I’m in the motive power (automotive) program. I’m looking for someone who’s also commuting to Fanshawe from Kitchener to see if I can carpool. I go in on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Mainly looking for someone to carpool on Monday’s. I’m pretty much only at Z building, but I don’t necessarily need to be dropped off there as I can take the bus over from main campus. Let me know if you have any leads please:)

I need my F license before second semester. Are there only 2 Available courses for the F license training and testing? On the website it says Aug - Oct with two different dates. Will more options come out for the fall, or are those two the only ones I’m able to sign up for before December?
