Just got my arcade stick
Very happy with it. Its from second impact a Brazilian brand.
Has optical sensor, cherry switches and is built like a tank.

Haven’t done one of these special shape build in a while. This turned out to be an absolute banger 🔥. The case is tall enough to accommodate a Golden Lever down the road and the led lights definitely make a statement. Him and I plan on doing another one next month and I’m stoked to see what he comes up with next!
Wip
Kuromaki LC1Plus
Lever: Fujin F3 (bandit) with miragent switch plate
Lever pcb from MAKAI ARCADE
Buttons: Gamerfingers 24mm
Pcb: Brook p5plus
Pcb cover, button cover and pcb mount from LVR BCKLR.
I am pressing the dot in the middle with tweezer but it does not release the terminal.
After the last one I did, I was not convinced that it was so great, so I have made this Leverless more compact, I hope you like it, if someone wants the model without art, you can write me
Finally had time to sit down and have a good look at the Fightbox R10-PRO and I'm really liking it so far. It seems to be a great fit for retro gaming, which is what I wanted it for.
Plugged into my MiSTer Pi, it works with no real setup involved, other than configuring the buttons for the MiSTer of course. Also the Trackball and Spinner work with games that use them on the MiSTer, which is a nice bonus. It also works on PC, Switch 1 & 2 and PS3/4 according to the website.
It's well built and has a nice weight to it, definitely recommend to use on a desk. The stick feels nice to use, very clicky and tactile, had no issues pulling off moves in Street Fighter and the buttons are decent too. They offer plenty of options to customise the buttons on the website and also you can add custom art too.
I'm no arcade / fight stick expert but I think it's a great all-rounder, especially for arcade games. It's a very solid choice and covers a wide range of games, thanks to the Trackball, Spinner, 8 main buttons and pinball side buttons (2 on each side)
Definitely recommend if you are thinking of picking up a stick for arcade / retro gaming.
Full disclosure statement: (to just skip past the full disclosures statement search for \\\*\\\*\\\*, which indicates the skip point) I am not a handicapped gamer in the traditional sense. I mainly came about this community in the '90s when I was looking for a right-handed six button Genesis joystick, wrote to Sega, asking where I could find a right-handed six button fight stick, and they referred me to KY Enterprises in California who makes specialty joysticks.
Also I don't know where the best place to post this is, because fightstick communities deal with exclusively digital joysticks and most HOTAS communities don't usually build their own plane sticks from scratch. And I don't know any communities other than hotas that use analog sticks frequently enough, especially the ultimarc kind. Perhaps pre-crash gaming might be a community if there is such a thing. But since I'm exclusively using it for my Hori Flex for Switch and XAC, I thought this would be a good place to start to ask.

Anyway I got an altamarc 360 mounted on a fight stick board and I added an extra thumb and index button trigger from Amazon. Of course I had to hire the work to separate the grounds to work with my Sinister system so that each button is independently grounded for it to work with potentially any system. And it works well on both the hori flex being used as a Nintendo switch PCB as well as the Xbox adaptive controller being used as an Xbox PCB.
That being said, that mod kind of made the stick rotatable within my wrist so that if there was a rotate command for like a paddle that could be used for Bally Astrocade something it might make a good paddle but a) it doesn't register the rotation and b) it's hard to find true north when my arm is tilted it's hard to find true north by feel alone and I have to look at the controller.
So these are two separate questions.
how do I lock down the rotation so that the buttons always face with my knuckles facing true north?
on the Ultimarc 360, is there a way you could measure and manipulate the rotation of your joystick along the axis of the shaft so that it can be used like a paddle for Atari 2600 and Bally Astrocade games?
Hybrid configuration of the Golden Lever. Comes with the adjustable switch spacing, NHM switches installed and the original Omron 1A6 switches. Will ship within lower 48 for free. Transaction via PayPal.
Any feedback is appreciated!
Big thank you to u/Disco-Prime for the suggestions on the case and parts - absolutely in love with how this turned out!
Case: FightBox F10-EX DIY Art case
Buttons: SiTong L (low profile) clear buttons, Kailh Purple Glede switches
Art: Collage done and edited by me using assets from SF6 + stock background, printed and cut by The Arcade Stick
Internals: Brook Gen5, BTF-LIGHTING WS2812B LED strip (30LED/M)
EDIT: The Juri art I have discovered was not ingame artwork, but a fan illustration by Rink - apologies, I was mistaken.
Heya!
Can you recommend where can I buy a leverless controller from the EU?
I play brawlhalla with keyboard. I want to play Rivals of Eather 2 and probably a leverless controller will be a good transition. If you have any recommendations on what to get for platform fighters I would highly appreciate it.
I like hip hop and Quasimoto is a cool character so I thought it would be a decent idea for a fightstick.
f700 with an Otto v5 lever and sanwa buttons.
not sure what else to do with it and open to ideas..
I bought this at CEO 3rd day and I noticed this wire has a cut in it. How can I replace or fix this?
Did some mods on a qanba crystal
Purchased cheap black qanba led buttons on sale and swapped out the switches for sanwa switches and did a mod on the lever to make it feel more like a jlf without compromising the LED capabilities.
Balltop from recently purchased eightarc fusion synthesis
I'm travelling soon, and I'm trying to decide on a bag that I can carry one of my sticks with. I've seen things like the victrix pro tournament bag and the qanba shield, but I'm trying to find out if either of those would be considered a personal item.
Flying with southwest airlines, stick I'm probably bringing is the qanba obsidian or obsidian 2.
Any advice is appreciated.
Got a new F500 yesterday and replaced the lever with an LS-40-01 and it worked just fine. Finished setting it up today by replacing the buttons and now the lever isn't working. I've tried different cables and levers but nothing is going through.
Edit: NVM I got it.
Hello,
Just got my Qanba Q4 Pro 8K in the mail and I have some thoughts.
Pros:
Cons:
Minor Gripes:
TL:DR It feels like Qanba had some really cool ideas, but ran out of time or money to make this thing something really special. So many awesome features and design choices feel nerfed by other design choices:
This isn't to say the controller is awful or anything, but I think a few design revisions could have made this thing really great.
Found this beautiful thing unused and new on Gumtree. This is my first fight stick. I have been taking it slow and learning the new deal with Tekken 8. I absolutely love it. It makes fighting games more sense and enjoyable.
I now understand left kick, right kick and etc. Nice.
I thank the Aunty that gave it to me on the cheap (very lovely lady) and I thank her son for never playing it nor using it when she bought it for him as a kid.
As I am unemployed, getting this for £30 was a total bargain. I thank God too!
Tekken 8, here I come.
