Be honest; how bad of an idea is this?

Be honest; how bad of an idea is this?

I usually do way more well-rounded lists, but I love the engineer zappers so much and I wanted to see if I could just blast my way through a defensive line using this setup.

What are the options for "counts as Italian infantry" in plastic?

I am essentially looking for plastic infantry kits originally meant for other nations to use for Italian infantry in North Africa.

So which plastic infantry kits would work for this? This would only work for non-Bersaglieri units, since I am unwilling to sculpt feathers at this scale. But regular infantry and paratroopers? I am sure there are plastic kits for German, British, US or Japan equivalents that look similar enough?

I just really prefer plastic over metal or resin, and am willing to accept small differences in look as long as it is not too obvious.

Many thanks in advance!

Is there any cohesive list I can make with the following?

1x Dietrich’s ghosts box set (got for $30 that’s why it’s here)

1x fallschirmjager pak 40 platoon
1x fallschirmjager stg44 platoon
1x fallschirmjager mg42 platoon

I got everything for $70 that’s why it’s this way. I was thinking a Stug III Box would definitely make a small fallschirmjager army

New To The Game

Hey there! Just bought my first set after talking for ages with a player at an LGS. This is my first tabletop wargame, so I was hoping to pop in here and ask if anyone had a list of typical "newbies should learn this" info. I'll be reading the core rules this week, but if there's anything else you think I should know, please tell me!

The set I got was Hit the Beach, in case that warrants any particular advice.

I need help identifying the bits on this sprue from Wargames Illustrated

I got a Vickers Light tank with this month’s issue of WI, but it appears to have some extra bits and I’m not sure what they’re for. I highlighted them in the second picture. I’ve been looking at pictures of the real tank for a while and can’t figure out where to put them.

Brushes - What are your favorites for painting 15's?

I really like the Nicpro brushes from Amazon, they're cheap, and I like the way the brushes are shaped and the way they paint. But they dont last long at all. I've ordered 5, 5 packs of brushes in the last 7 months from Amazon.

The Chinese cheapies seem to be similar quality to Vallejo's brushes

What's your favorite good budget brush to crank out some Bulge American infantry or Carthaginian Spanish cavalry?

Is this list bonkers vs germans?

The points are 110 were at least 10pts has to be Command Cards. I will be up against a German.

The vision was to have Richard, and I wanted to try using Outpost. I had to use two machin-gun cards since they don't have a dedicated MG platoon so they are split up in the two infantry platoons, perhaps wasted points.

No real artillery but I'm going for a defense list. M36 for the big German cats and M24 for smaller transports and guns/artillery.

Reserve: M36, Chaffee and probably mortars.

As per the title, I've put together two lists for my British Grenadier Guards using fowlist and the bulge: British book. IDK whether it's possible to actually give the motor platoon the Guards Armoured card, but Fowlist did that automatically. Which list is better, the one with AA Crusaders and a small platoon of M10s, or the one with an extra platoon of Shermans?
