Can't get to my Library (or anything else) when I have a score open
Hi. I'm a new user so apologies if there is an obvious solution to this problem. I'm on a fairly new iPad Air, running iOS 26.5, and using an Apple Pencil Pro. I'm trying to see my Library when I have a score open. This is what happens:
Double-tap center of screen (which the manual says will open main menu). Annotation menu opens. This is not what I want.
Close annotation menu.
Try double-tapping at top of screen. This shrinks the size of the score window somewhat.
Double-tap top of screen again. Nothing happens.
Double-tap top of screen third time. A menu with options
forScore, Edit, Annotate, View, Window, Helpappears at the top of the window for less than a second and then disappears.I go through Steps 3, 4, and 5 again and quickly select a menu option before it disappears. None of the menu options have a command that brings up the Library.
I go down many rabbit holes with the User Manual, Claude and Google looking for suggestions. Nothing works. I've tried a lot of things.
Eventually, I restart my iPad, restart ForScore (which opens up the score I had open before) and I go through Steps 3-5 again. This time "Library" is included in the menu bar at the top. I select it and see my library. Whoop!
I open a score. I go through Steps 3-5 again. The menu that appears does not include "Library". I'm disappointed.
I search for answers in this subreddit. I find nothing.
So, anyone have ideas about what is going on? Is it the software? Some incorrect setting on my iPad? The User?
