Hey everybody (if anybody's reading). Bear with me a bit. So, I volunteered to be a mod for this sub probably 10-12 years ago. Back then I think there were 8-10 others and it was a newish sub that seemed to mostly be managed by the others. Meaning I never saw anything that I thought "that shouldn't be here" or got any requests for moderators. I still, to this day, have never done any of the tasks mods do, and honestly idk that I would know how. I read reddit on my phone if I'm bored at work or before bed sometimes. Recently I got a message from someone attempting to post to this sub and they were unable to do so because of some auto mod, and I basically told them what I'm saying here. I've received 2-3 messages from Reddit telling me "based on our data, it looks like you may be one of the last active moderators on /r/forgotten websites." Long story short, if you want to be a mod, or have any interest in posting in/growing this sub, shoot me a message and if you can tell me how to make you a moderator of forgottenwebsites I am willing to do so, minimal prerequisites...mostly just be a real person. I will not be surprised if I don't hear from anyone. But reddit keeps asking me to keep this sub alive through moderation. I just want to read some news when I'm bored.
