r/forhire

Hi all,

I'm a backend developer from Pune with about 2 years of production experience in Node.js, Express and MySQL on AWS. I'm looking for backend roles that are either remote (from anywhere in the world) or onsite in Pune.

What I've built:

• A WhatsApp bot used by 2,000+ students, with JWT login via PWA and Gemini OCR for document extraction
• A scholarship automation platform for a 2-college government pilot (REST APIs, S3 uploads, EC2 deployment)
• A Cashfree/eNACH payment deduction system with a reconciliation dashboard

I left my dev role in Dec 2025 and have been doing operations work at a catering business since, and I'm now returning to engineering full-time.

Looking for:

1. Resume feedback (happy to DM a redacted copy)
2. Leads on remote backend openings, or companies hiring in Pune

Thanks! Happy to answer questions about any project.

I'm a photographer in CA, building a SaaS platform for photography studios. Most of it is built. I need an experienced developer to review the codebase and finish the launch-critical pieces: Stripe payments, print lab integration, email, and the parent ordering flow.

\*\*Stack:\*\* React/TypeScript, Bun, Hono, Drizzle, Postgres, Cloudflare, Stripe

\*\*Looking for someone with:\*\*

\- Strong TypeScript backend experience
\- Stripe in production
\- Comfort working in an existing codebase

Remote, budget is flexible depending on experience . Starts with a paid code review.

DM me a project you've shipped and your rate, and start your message with "picture day."

Struggling with messy data, manual reporting, or broken spreadsheets?

Whether you operate a small business, run an e-commerce shop, or manage an enterprise team, manual data tracking eats up hours of billable work. I specialize in turning raw, messy business data into streamlined, automated workflows and intuitive visual dashboards.

With 10+ years of deep expertise in spreadsheet architecture and scripting, I design custom solutions built specifically around your operational goals.

🛠️ Services & Capabilities

Performance & Executive Dashboards: KPI scorecards, sales tracking, real-time metrics, and visual reporting tools across platforms (Google Sheets, Excel, Looker Studio, or Power BI).

Attendance & Operations Tracking: Workforce management templates, employee schedule trackers, time-sheet logging, and automated attendance reporting.

Full Spreadsheet Automation: Custom Google Apps Script (GAS) and Excel VBA macros to eliminate repetitive tasks, auto-generate invoices, and automate routine data entries.

Complex Data Processing: Advanced formulas (QUERY, dynamic arrays, regex), data normalization, merged source consolidation, and error reduction.

System Integrations: Connecting third-party APIs or webhooks to populate live data directly into your spreadsheets.

💰 Rate & Terms

Hourly Rate: $20 / hr (paid work only, billed via wise or direct invoice)

Lemme know what you need!

I build automation systems for small-to-mid businesses. Three main things I do:

• AI phone receptionists — answers calls and books appointments when you can't pick up, built on ElevenLabs/Vapi-style voice agents. Starting around $4K + a small monthly retainer for upkeep.
• ERP/reporting automation — turns messy exports from old systems (QAD, SAP, AS/400) into reports that check themselves against the source total, instead of someone rebuilding them by hand every month. Have a working interactive demo I can share. Pricing depends on the report, usually a paid scoping day first.
• CRM/lead automation — review request bots, missed-inquiry follow-ups, quote/booking forms wired into your CRM. Starts around $500 for a single automation.
