Wet live in the future. Wife asked me to run to the hardware store for a new garden hose gasket. Download stp file from McMaster, load a spool of TPU, and 5 minutes later…

Retro computer inspired weather station

I've made a retro computer look-alike out of ESP32 and a cheap e-ink display. Right now, it works as my primary weather station. Firmware was 100% vibe coded, yet it works flawlessly for a few weeks already. Just to be clear - the model itself wasn't touched by AI.

Tip Down Tin Storage Drawer

Have been working on this one for a little while because my partner has a tea problem, in my option not her's. She has these tins she got for storing loose leaf and before they were kinda stacked on the shelf, but hard to get to. Made this so I can either do them side by side or stack them on top of each other and now get some more shelf space back. Just uses gravity to do the tip mechanism with a simple track and uses magnets to hold them in. I chose to also use some 608zz bearings to make it slide nice and smooth. I did design this around the H2S so it doesn't fit on an P or X series size printer. Possibility to make a smaller version in the future, but not right meow. I also upload the stop files for the fronts so you can do whatever crazy thing you want with the front for design and or even make your own pulls for it so it looks less like a mini filling cabinet. Other notable things is it is designed to hold the back end down with either tape for 2 M5 screws, but the 2 pieces of tape are 10x the force required when the tape fully sets up. Let me know if you have any questions. There are more pictures and details on makerworld.

Link for anyone interested.

[True] Open-Source Parametric 3D Printed Planetary Gearbox

Most of the gearbox designs I saw online are .step or even .stl files that are hard to modify and with no real "design" aforethought, working mostly by accident...

So I made this fully parametric design where you can change gear ratio, module etc...but most importantly, I wanted to follow some kind of a systematic approach.

Truly open source, copy it, modify it, sell it..go wild...

Hold my beer – Microphone Stand Beer Holder

So, I got rightfully flamed for spicing up the above actual picture with a tad too much “non-human assistance.” But! This is genuinely an important print! It holds my beer when I have my hands on my guitar!

Prints without supports and no other parts needed.

With persistence and perseverance, I present to you once again my hand-drawn (in FreeCAD) model that holds your beer (or other beverages, in bottles or cans) upright on your mic stand whilst you are bi-handedly working your instrument!

Model is here:

I've designed way too many utility knives lately, so I figured it was finally time to make a proper blade dispenser.

I was tired of the shitty plastic cases these blades come in — they’re a pain to open and the blades always get stuck. Since I’ve been on a utility knife design spree, I figured it was time for a decent storage solution.

Designed this with a rotating tray so you can actually grab a blade without fighting the box. I made a desktop base and a wall-mount version since my workbench is always a mess anyway.

I needed something more in my office, so I designed, prototyped, and 3d printed this modular wall organizer.

The story.

I made this to solve a problem: my stuff is always sitting in different places, which does two things. It means that it takes me longer to find, and it doesn't get shown off; it's just there. So I decided to design a wall organizer. When I started designing this, I had a few rules for myself: firstly, that it had to be modular. Then it also had to be something that I would actually put on my wall and use every day. I also designed the main pen bin with a rounded shape because it has a very welcoming feel and would add visual appeal. If you have a 3d printer and want to print this, here are the free files: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2769256-wall-organizer-modular-design-slatted-panel-v1#profileId-3075757

Printed on the P1S with Bambu white PLA. No supports on the main body, designed for easy printability.

The stand holds the MagSafe puck via a snap fit, and the cable routes through the base so nothing hangs loose on your desk. Took a few iterations to get the snap tight enough to feel solid but easy enough to assemble without tools.

Part of a larger modular Apple desk system im working on.
