Anyone else vend at Nightmare Weekend ? Exhibitors and/or artist alley. what were your thoughts on the con overall??
My partner and I barely broke even and probably won’t be back again.
So who else enjoyed hearing the animatronic wolf in the lobby howling every few minutes from many of the panel rooms? 🐺
I’m going tomorrow and see she has a photo op at 12 and then her event at 2. I plan to get there at opening at 10. Assuming she’s at her booth as they open. I’m hoping to meet her before she leaves for photo ops. I know Saturday is different from Sunday and probably more people. But if you did, it would help give me an idea.
Hi!! I’m going to Animate! Philly TODAY (Friday) pretty much just to meet the TADC voice cast, especially Amanda Hufford. This is my first ever con and I’m going alone so I’m super nervous and don’t really know what to expect! If anyone could answer these questions and give some general advice that would be awesome:
If I exit the venue (to put stuff in my car, for example), will I be able to re-enter without any trouble?
How early are the celebrities usually at their tables? I’m sure it depends on the person, but basically I’m asking if I should aim to get there super early or if I should go and do other things first.
Are other fans/guests at cons generally friendly?? This may be a bit of a silly question but I‘m pretty socially anxious and again this is my first con and I have no idea what to expect. I’m not specifically there to interact with other fans but I’m sure it would be cool to get to know some people in the communities I like, as well as to ask questions about things while I’m there.
