Hi!! I’m going to Animate! Philly TODAY (Friday) pretty much just to meet the TADC voice cast, especially Amanda Hufford. This is my first ever con and I’m going alone so I’m super nervous and don’t really know what to expect! If anyone could answer these questions and give some general advice that would be awesome:

1. If I exit the venue (to put stuff in my car, for example), will I be able to re-enter without any trouble?

2. How early are the celebrities usually at their tables? I’m sure it depends on the person, but basically I’m asking if I should aim to get there super early or if I should go and do other things first.

3. Are other fans/guests at cons generally friendly?? This may be a bit of a silly question but I‘m pretty socially anxious and again this is my first con and I have no idea what to expect. I’m not specifically there to interact with other fans but I’m sure it would be cool to get to know some people in the communities I like, as well as to ask questions about things while I’m there.

Really craving the Roost rn. Also need to have the pretzel Monday deal at Auntie Anne’s with my friends! (assuming that one is waiting for more student workers)

Title. Living in Forbes-Craig next year and I wanted to bring kitchen appliances like a toaster or rice cooker, but I checked the residential handbook and it says students should not bring them in addition to the prohibited items within on-campus housing. I thought those prohibited items just applied to the dorms? Can anyone confirm for me that you’re not supposed to have them in on-campus apartments either?
