I'll make this as short as i can. That's my first galaxy watch ever and it's a fantastic watch. Besides the battery life which isn't longer than 2,5 days, everything else is excellent. I'm a person coming from Huawei Watch GT6 pro , i also had a OnePlus watch 4. Both had better battery life but that's all. Everything else is better with the galaxy watch. The screen brightness is fantastic, the feel using it , the software also is very polished and modern and the most important..the integration with the Samsung ecosystem is marvelous. Let me know if you can get more than 2.5 days out of your watch.

It happened once with my old watch 6 classic and I reboot it and was able to get back in.

Tried the same thing with my galaxy watch ultra and had no luck.

I don't get why there is a count down on top now either. It only shows when I try to unlock it

-Edit After waiting the 4 hours I was able to input my watch code and get in finally. I think what may have caused it, at my job I wear a lab coat, and gloves and deal with running water constantly but don't cover my watch and it probably kept triggering the wrong code input

If you're still wondering how accurate the Galaxy Watch is, check out my 1-hour run yesterday with the GWU 2024 on my left wrist and the Magene H803 on my right bicep. Its battery is terrible, I must say, but I cannot complain about the accuracy.

I keep seeing people claim they get 4 to 5 days on a single charge, but I feel like they must have the watch completely neutered in battery saver mode.

Built a Wear OS TOTP authenticator where the bezel combination is the vault key — closed testing, looking for daily users

I've been building RotarySafe for a while and it's finally in a shape where I need real users rather than just me testing on my own watch.

The concept: your 2FA codes live in an encrypted vault that only opens when you dial a four-step rotary combination on your watch bezel. It mirrors a physical combination lock — each step is a number of clicks left or right, zero is not valid, three wrong attempts triggers a hard lock. The app holds no internet permission; everything is local.

Technical details for those who care:

• Communication between phone and watch is AES-256-GCM encrypted at the app layer (on top of Bluetooth link encryption)
• PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 at 100k iterations for the combination hash, Argon2id for backup encryption
• The combination hash is computed on the watch before transmission — raw values never leave the device
• Full TOTP per RFC 6238, Google Authenticator import supported

I'm specifically looking for people who will actually use it as their main authenticator, not just install it and forget it. Bugs that only appear in daily use are the interesting ones.
