I got this Micro yesterday for a decent price. I’m a bit bummed about this dent in the back.
Does anyone here have experience removing such dents that can provide some advice? Its the battery compartment, so it has that foam on the other side.
Also, are there any oem replacement housings? I’d prefer to stay away from 3rd party stuff.

Basically the title. I've had a rough few years. But I promised myself once I got back on my feet and sorted everything out, I'd treat myself to a Gameboy Micro. I used to have a Famicom edition years ago but I had to sell it, along with SO many other games and consoles. But I don't have to do that anymore. I can actually seek out and keep my things.
Okay enough sappiness. I'm SO impressed that this console is practically mint condition. Like yeah I know the Japanese second hand market always has the advantage but it's still really impressive considering how old it is. It even came with a stamp from the department store from 2005. Nuts.
I got a Game Boy Micro, but there's a name printed on the back.
Is it just me or is this tool hard to find these days.
Recently picked this up for $60. Seller originally wanted $100, but after messaging back and forth decided on $60 because it's rough and has no charger. I have no idea whether it works or not. it was a older gentleman who said he bought it back in like 2006, and haven't touched it in years, his grandkids don't care for the old stuff but last time he used it, it did work. Also said he had multiple higher offers for shipping but picked me cuz I was local and messaged first.
I'm a sucker for OEM stuff tho. So, I'd rather spend the extra $25 on a OEM charger, and if possible another OEM faceplate? But holy christ are the faceplates so expensive.
Does the screen look decent? Are the third party chargers worth it? What about faceplates? If the screen is cooked, how easy it is to replace it?
So I finally ended my shiny drought with tgis bulbasaur I’ve been hunting for over a year since I bought this copy of leaf green . I only started taking the hunt reall seriously after I FAILED A SHINY ABRA on my fire red save file .. started thinking I wish I had a fast sleep powder pokemon that could’ve gave me a better chance at catching that abra . Ironically after the fail I decided to just play some pokemon emerald, where I then found a shiny poocheana within 30 min of the failed abra !! Anyways that whole mishap has essentially made me shiny bankrupt is I seemed to have used all of my luck for the next coming months .. then fire red and leaf green releases on the switch and I got to watch all of u people getting beginners luck and arcues blessing for trying your first full odds shiny hunts and I was happy for u , but something in me rREAALLY wanted it to be 🥹.. anyways go check out my last shinys to see me die inside while failing a shiny abra .. it was some real life stuff 💔 took me awhile to post this because I couldn’t even think of the words I would say ,, really happy this green froggy is home 😭

I own a company that refurbishes and does UV printing and a friend reached out wanting a recreation of a special edition. Here it is! Did I make it look like the original?
New Gameboy Micro 3D printed extended back housing and 1500mah battery mod giving 11 to 37 hours of battery life depends on which cart type is being played and the brightness level. Special thanks to iikepie for creating the back housing.
Does anyone know where I can get a new one of these? Not my pic but I broke the exact same parts circled in red, on a green micro, too.
I've seen there's a recreation model of this part (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5027428), but I don't own a 3D printer.
If I can't simply buy one in green, does anyone know of somewhere/someone reputable that I can commission to print it for me instead? (UK based would be great, but not too bothered)

Feels so good and nostalgic to be using both of these gems together. Makes me almost want a flip phone as a daily phone to complete the package lol.
Picked this up from eBay for a decent price, love the colour of it although I'm a little bummed to see the screen is slightly yellow. Might replace that in the future, but it isn't that bad... Still stoked overall to have it and to see it nearly matches the colour of my Samsung S26 in light blue.
