Blaming 9/11 for failure, I don't get it.
So I recently watched an interview in which Shirley Manson blames the event of 9/11 for the collapse of the band and I just don't understand why. This was a great band that I really liked but this is the only band claiming this is the reason for their failure.
Does anyone else have issues with this?

It is true. Her voice even bears a striking resemblance/similarity to that of Chrissie Hynde. She cites Chrissie Hynde as her number one primary influence.
Believe it or not, it's to the point that they have a similar vocal style!!!!

Sorry to kinda boast, but…
I recently moved into a flat near Cardiff Castle and I’ve just spent the last hour listening to the Garbage gig going on tonight via my (many) open windows! It’s reasonably loud but clear. Shirley, the band and the crowd are all in fine voice.
