Hi, I just want to ask this. Last year around October, me and my friend decided to try change our physical sim to esim via GlobeOne app. We already made the payment, the qr code is sent to our respective email and we tried to activate it. When the esim is activated but the problem is in our GlobeOne app it says that our purchase is not yet done even though we’ve succesfully activated our sim. Also when we checked the mobile data of our esim, it only shows an E/EDGE connection instead of LTE/5G. And take note that we escalated it to their customer service, but despite of numerous troubleshooting and tickets they cannot fix our issue with the mobile data.

I’ve also tried going to their Globe store hoping that maybe they can fix my concern, but after going 2 times in their store they said that they cannot fix my sim because of some technical issue (I can’t remember if the issue was on my sim’s end or in their end). So, that’s why I stopped trying to get my unusable sim be fixed because there’s no solution at all based on what we’ve experienced.

My question is, do you experience the same problem when you’re changing your sim to esim via GlobeOne app? And does your data connection falls in E/EDGE too and how do you get it fix? TYIA!

Hello, a technician was supposed to fix our connection earlier but was blocked by barangay and said they needed a barangay permit? Do I really need a barangay permit so they can fix our Internet connection?

Grabe! Wala na talagang mas tatalo pa sa incompetency ng ganitong klase ng kumpanya dito sa Pilipinas.

Context: mula simula ng July, nagsimula maging pula/red ang LOS sa modem namin and we immediately applied for repair naman through GlobeOne app na set to be on a specific date. Pagdating ng araw, hindi sila sumipot at biglang sinara na lang yung ticket so nagbukas uli kami ng bago at same scenario hanggang sa magiging isang buwan na tapos hindi pa rin naaayos. Yes, pumunta na kami sa mismong Globe store at ang sabi nga nila pupuntahan nila sa araw na yun pero hindi rin sumipot tapos yung ticket na binibuksan namin nauusog lang nang nauusog at hindi nasisipot. Yes, ipaparebate naman namin to pero the fact na ganito yung sitwasyon is just insane. Tapos sasabihin nila na priority ang nasa QC? Globe rin ang kapitbahay namin pero ok naman yung internet nila.

Ang theory ko lang dito is they are forcing us to do something that will favor them and that is to upgrade our plan.

P.S. Since July 15, bumabalik naman na siya pero sa gabi lang tapos mawawala uli sa umaga and then babalik lang uli pag gabi. Sobrang nakakainis na.

Hi! Nagpa-add plan ako sa BF ko sa Globe plan niya. I picked the P599/month na postpaid plan without device.

Nakuha namin yung simcard, put into my phone and activated on its own after 24 hrs. I registered through Globe and all goods naman so far, showing sa GlobeOne na registered na.

Nagswitch ako sa GlobeOne from physical sim to eSim. Nagagamit ko siya pangtext and calls. Nakakreceived din.

Pero di ko siya magamit and maregister sa mga socials. Like creating new Gmail, or changing my number sa WhatsApp. Pero I tried to use it sa FB, TG, Viber, gumana naman and narereceived ko OTP.

Pero sa WhatsApp and Gmail, nihindi manlang makapagsend ng OTP. I mean hindi kami umaabot sa point na magsesend ng OTP after I put the number, as if it don't recognize it.

Nagchat ako sa Globe, I input my number sa bot nila sa Messenger, even the bot itself says the number cannot be recongnized. Di ko alam kung bakit.

May minimum contract pa naman yung postpaid plan ng 7 mos bago mapacancel yung simcard.

I'm gonna use it as a work number sana pero di ko magamit sa mga socials na mas need ko sa work.

Hello! Baka po may maka help. I am now based in Dubai and been living here for 3 years already. Now, my globe sim got deactivated na daw sabi ng chat support nila. I can no longer receive OTPs. Big problem is connected yung number ko sa Gcash, Maya and sa bank ko sa Pinas. The only option is to get a new globe sim card and call all the financial providers ko to have it updated. Super hassle nito so baka po may maka help. Please.

My question is, is there any way to check the status of my request for sim ban if it is truly banned? The customer service send me a reference number for the request but I don’t know how to use it to check the status of the lost sim
