why trance music is scary
Hi, I went to few trance music parties recently (goa trance, but also psytrance have this effect) and this music is really strange to me when I try to listen to it.
I’m a musician and also a dj but more like techno/jungle dj.. so it seems like it’s all melodic all the time but the melodies are scary in a way? Like they are dramatic and sad/spooky if I must describe, I don’t even think those melodies can be played on a piano, because it’s maybe coming from synthesis manipulation?
Anyway have anyone tried to ever look at those music genres from a real musical standpoint and can share some thoughts? Does it sounds scary to you?
Is it made for people to help people feel stuff on lsd?
