Hi, I have a question regarding surf etiquette.

so i was surfing today and the waves were in about 1 meter size, it was pretty busy today, loads of people. i have had a good session. at some point i was paddling for a wave and in the moment i was about to stand up this grom yells at me like hey!!! no!!! or something. he was paddling back to the lineup and he was in front of me, in about my 2 o'clock and few meters away. I was about to take left. but i decided to dismount because of him and of course i ate shit while holding on to my board, and i got dragged super far out under water almost to shore because of this.

then on the moment i could get out of the water and finally breath this grom yells at me something like: "why aren't you getting off the wave?!!?! get out of here!!!" while he paddles to the line up. i have to say i have never seen this kid before but i saw him surfing pretty good. I surf this beach 4 times a week, met some of the locals and made some friends. anyway i didn't even had a chance to say anything to him and i left because it was already time for me to leave, and I was closer to the shore now... what do you think about it?

hi, so I was wondering how the riddims or instrumentals were created? was it the musicians jamming and coming up with a bass line and everything? or something else? maybe there was a producer that would arrange it musically?

also I have noticed that in albums of musicians like Bob Marley, Burning Spear, Gregory Isaacs (big names) they would generally use more original riddims that we're not found in more tracks, but in smaller reggae singer releases a lot of riddims we're reused. also I guess some riddims coming from nayabingi and african chants melodies

Like surfing waves or doing some sport but still NEET?

I'm 27 years old guy, open minded liberal guy. I lived there in 2019 for for the first time, it was amazing back then. so much stuff to do every weekend, it felt like if you have some initiative you can do whatever and organize events and such. 2nd time i lived there i got into my house just before 7th of october, and it was hard obviously but i understand it, and i was studying back then so i had a good reason to live there, but still it was ok in terms of nightlife and cost of rent. Haven't been in israel for a long time since then, and now i'm back and it seems like the city is gone, like really nothing interesting to do in the night outside, houses are more expensive and shittier, the cool people are gone or something? do anybody feels the same? seems like a huge cultural decline and more of an Arsiada.. anybody here left tel aviv to other cities? anybody here tel avivian born and raised? what do you think? you dont even see no one in the streets these days, maybe its the heat or summer holidays.. but I can't decide if it's worth to get a place there now.

I was driving yesterday in pretty bad traffic, bit if I get some space between me and the car in front of me I could just go very slowly. What i did was getting into 2nd gear, then releasing the gas pedal, and the car was just moving by itself unless it’s a hill.. is it ok for the transmission? Just moving very slowly without any gas?

Another question is that sometimes i skip 4th gear, is it a bad practice? I get to 3rd gear and get to about 3200-3500 rpm then going to 5th, just to get faster to the speed on the highway and maybe save 2 clutch presses i guess..

Hi, basically the title. my car is a fiat punto 1.2 2011, has 180K km.

I bought it recently and thought it's something to get used to after searching online but it seems pretty bad, like even trying to let of throttle very slowly cause it to jerk.. and I used to have another manual car that didn't do it. so the jerks are back and fourth and i'm thinking of replacing the gear box mounts, do you think it can help? i'm not sure how to check them prior to getting new ones to be sure.. but I tried to look at the engine while the car is in neutral and someone else pressing on the gas and the whole engine does move.

should i try replacing the gear mounts? did you ever fixed a problem like that? Thanks!

I couldn't find anything online. but maybe it's hard to phrase the question.. I'm just wondering if he used to listen to fellow Jamaican artists from his era or something else? thanks.
