Grab Car from Binondo to Makati

From accepting a booking priced at PHP 686, it got canceled. Then I booked again, and the new fare was PHP 842 in less than a minute. I wonder how Grab’s pricing works. It’s obviously overpriced.

I don't bother with Priority Delivery anymore

Dahil ilang times na false promise ang "priority. " Grouped pa rin naman with other orders, panay LATE.

SO what I do is order WAY ahead of time. Saver delivery. Sa panay diskarte ni grab driver, nagiging DISINCENTIVE tuloy for us consumers to STOP using priority delivery.

Just my humble Opinion.

Minors driving e-trike at MOA?

So last night nagpunta kami sa Concert.. sa papunta from Buendia terminal to MOA it only cost us 25 pesos each.

After the concert syempre sobrang pagod na kami. May mga dispatcher just outside the arena, mga e-trike. then akala namin ung bata is dispatcher lang.. so tatlo kami ng friends ko sumakay kami. Then bigla ung bata ung nagdrive kasama nya ung isa pang bata na mukang 10lang or something.. ung driver is mukang 16pababa..🥲.. and what more terrifying is ang lakas magpatugtog, as in dagundong ung music.... then the worst thing pa is jusko akala ko mamamatay na kami😭.. ang kamote nya mag drive... ang bilis magdrive. nagoovertake sa BUS! And Trucks!!. jusko.. ang lakas ng music nya di na kami.magkarinigan sa loob... hindi pa sya natigil sa stop light and god hindi sya marunong mag basa ng signal ng ibang sasakyan ilang beses na kami muntik magitgit kase singit sya ng singit kahit san kumasya..

thank god.. bumaba na kami kahit medyo.malayo pa sa babaan😢 sinigil kami ng 50pesos each na para bang may kasamang life insurance ung ride.

never again na talaga. magbbook nalang kami ng grab next time🤧

Is it just me, or is expecting a Grab driver to carry all your heavy bags getting a bit out of hand? Let's discuss.

Hey everyone,

I came across an Instagram story recently that really made me think about the current state of service culture and customer entitlement in Malaysia.

In the screenshot, a local business owner/influencer of TUG Gelato, Yong Xin Ying (@h.aileyxy) publicly blasts a Grab driver at KLIA2 because he asked her to load her own 3 bags into the car. When she told him "that’s his job" and complained about paying RM100, the driver simply offered to cancel the ride if she wasn't happy with that. She then took to live chat, claiming the driver was "verbally abusive" just for refusing to carry the bags, and demanded Grab take action.

As far as I know, Grab drivers are paid to transport you safely from Point A to Point B. Loading heavy luggage is a kind gesture/courtesy, not a mandatory requirement under their job scope—especially considering many drivers might have physical limitations, back pain, or simply want to avoid damaging a passenger's property.
It feels incredibly unfair to threaten a grab worker's livelihood and label them "abusive" on live chat just because they didn't offer a 5-star concierge hotel service for a standard ride fare. If someone wants premium white-glove service, they should probably book a premium private limousine service instead of treating a standard driver like a personal porter.

What are your thoughts on this? Should passengers expect drivers to do the heavy lifting, or is this a clear case of main character syndrome?

Grab Food wrong dispatch

Yesterday, I ordered food for my family tas mali ang dumating. The order that came was wrong, the total value is more than what I ordered. I reported it on the app as wrong item and nirefund ako. So I assumed na tapos na ang issue and kakainin nalang namin ang dumating. After an hour.. biglang nagcall ang merchant sakin demanding that I should pay the full amount na dumating sakin. Eh fault naman nila to begin with. Tbh kung maayos lang makipagusap ang manager pagbibigyan ko, but the manager was aggressive. At that time sakto lang ang money ko sa gcash at yun nalang ang ibabalik ko sana, but even before I offered the option, the manager dropped the call while we are still arguing about their mistake. What should I do?

Grab rider charged us a toll fee

May naka-experience na ba nito? Our Grab rider charged us a toll fee. Ngayon lang ako naka-experience nito, and I was shocked. The driver never informed us beforehand, and as far as I know, wala namang toll dito sa Davao. Plus, hindi rin naman malayo ang pick-up and drop-off namin.

How to refund grab unlimited auto pay subscription

Hello, is there anyone po who can help or knows someone na legit refunder? Nag auto pay po kasi sa gcash ko yung grab unlimited renewal and i wasn’t able to cancel the subscription since na busy po ako. It was 576 but that money was very valuable for me since kinita ko po siya from live selling. I kept on messaging them nag file din po ako ng report and ticket but it was just the bots who are responding with automated messages. Kinulit ko din yung grab through their fb and told them that i need to talk to an agent but the only respond i got was to file a ticket and wait 3 business days for them to confirm if eligible ako. They included na baka hindi na eligible since hindi naman na cancel yung subscrption before renewal and already processed na. Please can someone help po or know someone that can help? Nag appeal na po kasi ako halos lahat ng pwedeng mag file ng report para lang maresolve. I just can’t believe the audacity of this company na may auto payment policy but hindi man lang nanghihingi ng verification or at least confirmation from the consumer. Plus they are are known to be a food delivery and taxi app but then bots lang ang nasagot with automated messages na hindi naman nakaka resolba ng problema. They don’t even have their customer service number which the consumers can call for service.

So Grab reached out to me again. And they did what I thought is right! Be proactive and focus on the AC part to really solve the problem! Bonus point na hindi na ako matatapat sa kaniya. Ayun lang.

Lowkey washed out my guilt na nahold-up (kung totoo man) mga incentives niya. Kasi ang init talaga.

May choice ba ang mga rider i-accept/cancel ang mga deliveries kahit wala silang box ng grab sa motor?

I ordered pizza sa pizzaderia via grab and ito yung dumating. Medyo sus na ako nung sinabi ng grab driver na nasa labas na siya and nung lumabas ako ay may palinga-linga na rider pero wala siyang MALAKING box ng grab sa likod ng motor niya. Ang nakita ko lang ay top box kaya inisip ko "ay baka hindi to yung rider ko".

Lo and behold, tumingin siya at tinanong kung ako ba si customer niya, napatango na lang ako at naghintay habang inilalabas niya sa top box niya ang pizza na NAKATAGILID ng 45 degrees.

Speechless akong tinanggap ang pizza pero ang dami nang tumatakbo sa isip ko nun kaya bumalik na lang ako sa bahay and tadaaaa, yan na yung pizza. :(

Grab driver picked up someone else at the airport

Sharing my Grab experience from NAIA 2 this weekend. Booked a ride home from the arrival terminal and soon saw the assigned car from where I was waiting. To my surprise, someone else boarded the vehicle while it was still several meters away. I flagged down the driver and showed him my Grab app that indicated his car's license plate. He said something about having booked the current passenger who was paying cash. I was kinda annoyed and told him to cancel my trip which was stull active and informing me that the ride has arrived.To my puzzlement, he told me he did not know how to cancel the trip. I called a security guard and described what was happening. After he saw my booking, the guard told the Grab driver that I was the legitimate passenger. At this point, I no longer wanted to board the Grab car as I was getting really pissed with the driver and just wanted him to cancel mybride. The current passenger was actually sympathetic with situation and also told the Grab driver to just cancel my booking. The guard called on his walkietalkie for a Grab representative from the airport to come over but when one did not arrive after over 5 minutes, I just canceled the ride myself and walked away. I booked another ride without any issue and boarded. We passed the problematic driver on the way out and I saw that the other passenger had gotten off, probably found the situation sus. I narrated the events to my new Grab driver who laughed at the idea of a Grab associate not knowing how to cancel a ride. He said the guy was probably on multiple platforms and opted for the booking that paid cash. During the trip, I filed a complaint on the Grab app filling in all the details of what had happened. Grab almost immediately refunded my cancelation penalty and informed me that they would investigate the driver concerned.

Question: nag bibigay ba kayo ng 1 star sa mga drivers?

Context: nainis yung driver sa akin dahil hindi kami nag kaintindihan tungkol sa location ko. Yung pick up ko kasi is Speedo glorietta/MUJI and yun din naman yung nasa pin. Bago niya so ipick up tinanong niya sa akin kung nasa mercury drug daw ba ako, syempre sagot ko hindi pero nung na pick up niya ako, sinigawan niya ako dahil 3 beses daw siya umikot at di ko sinabi na nasa mercury drug ako (dating mercury drug yung MUJI ngayun). Wala naman siyang sinabi na “dating mercury drug” or “lumang mercury drug”.

Inisip ko na bigyan siya ng 1 star kasi wtf?? bakit siya magagalit sa akin pero ending is nag 4 stars na lang ako kasi livelihood naman din nila to and ayaw mo naman maapektuhan sila dahil lang di kayo nagkaintindihan.

Paano sumagot sa driver na sinermunan ang customer

Ano ba ang magandang comeback sa driver na sinermunan ka pagkatapos mong mag-request nang maayos?

Context: Booked a sedan, 3 kaming sumakay, around 11 AM. Car's aircon was just at #2. I politely requested the driver kung pwede nyang lakasan ang aircon nya.

Sinagot ako ng, "Dapat 6-seater ang binook nyo kung gusto nyo nang malamig na aircon."

Di na lang ako sumagot pero nakakagalit because it felt so rude and unnecessary especially because magalang akong nakiusap.

Sabi rin ng kasama ko pagbaba namin, "Ibang klase rin yung driver, sinermunan ka pa."

How would you have responded if you were in my place?

Reklamador na grab driver

I booked a grab ride yesterday for the first time from bahay on the way to a mall which equates to one jeepney ride. Paglabas palang ng village the driver showed impatience nung siningitan sya ng isang kotse. Then panay reklamo sya na 11:30 am padaw estimated time of arrival eh 10:20 am palang nun kaya inis na inis sya lalo't medyo maulan at traffic. Then, kada tigil ng kotse sa traffic panay reklamo sya to the point na nadinig kopang sinabi nyang "F***". Hindi naman sya directly nagrereklamo sakin pero nagpaparinig the entire trip. Tapos sabi nya ang dami daw stop lights tapos sobrang parang magwawala na sya lalo na pag nagkakataon na 120 seconds yung need intayin.

The thing was hindi naman ganun kalala yung traffic kahit maulan. We arrived at the destination at 11:00 am kaya halos 20 minutes lang byahe. All I could do to release my frustration was mag buntong huminga at iparinig na nagdadabog ako pag may kinukuha akong gamit sa bag ko para naman mahiya sya. Sa totoo lang nakakatrauma kasi anytime parang pwede syang magwala dun at baka kung ano pang gawin nya sakin. Mas pipiliin kopang magjeep para sa peace of mind.

Questions in this case:

  1. Is it advisable to give a low rate and negative feedback or wag nalang lalo kasi alam nya bahay ko?

  2. Will the driver know if I will give him a low rate and bad feedback?

overpaid grab food

hello,, just want to ask if possible ba na ma refund yung sobra kong payment sa rider kaninang lunch. i was supposed to pay 1,218 only pero 2,218 pala yung hawak ko and naibigay ko lahat sa rider. sobrang sabog ko na rin kasi kanina bcs of work and that was for our lunch. driver did not contact me sa sobrang payment and tonight ko lang na realize na sobra yung payment. hindi ko rin makuha yung contact nung rider. reported this already sa app pero still want to ask here kasi na sstress ako and i might pay for that :(

How do you deal with this situation? When Grab food rider gets into an accident.

So i had an order for breakfast. Mga 10 minutes to arrival napansin ko di na sya gumalaw sa location nya considering malapit na sya samin. Then driver called me telling me na na-aksidente daw sya and sent me photos. I tried to cancel the order pero di pala pwede on my end kasi nakuha na nya food from merchant. So sabi ko icancel nya and report to grab na naaksidente sya. But he won’t do it. Sabi ko ireport nya para makakuha ako ng refund kasi di ko nareceive yung food. Dahil gutom na ko nag order na lang ulit ako sa iba. An hour after active pa din sya and he want back to the merchant. After several minutes sabi nya idedeliver na nya sakin. I don’t want to accept it anymore kasi one hour na lumipas and I am not sure if ok pa yung food. Kasi in the photo he sent kita na may nag bukas nung packaging ng food. He told me na nireplace daw yung order ng store. At this point nakuha ko na yung bagong order ko and I was already eating. I told him na kanya na lang yung food and just report to grab na he met an accident pero ayaw nya gawin. He marked as delivered yung food kahit di ko naman kinuha. Ngayon i tried reporting to grab pero they weren’t helpful kahit pa naka VIP status yung account. Akala ko pag ganun mas madali macontact yung CS. Although sa status ng report ongoing daw. Ano ba talaga dapat ang gawin in this situation? Walang magawa customer pag may ganito nga. There’s no way to cancel or report directly. Pahirapan pa ang refund.
