A speedy fun run at Okutama in grid with my fav soundtrack from GT racing 2

I went for a cool fun run at my all-time favourite track in Grid Autosport and edited in my favourite soundtrack from GT racing 2: The real car experience. I enjoyed that game a lot a while back, so I thought of mixing Autosport and that together.

Just finished season 1 of Grid:Legends. Enjoyed myself thoroughly. What should I do next?

Coming from Need for Speed, I found the driving challenging but really, really enjoyable. Definitely more immersive than even, say, Forza Horizon 4.

However, I'm not so sure about the next few seasons. Like, the classic carnage one, for instance -- if it's anything like the stadium trucks, I'll give it a pass.

What games should I try next? Is it worth trying the multiplayer in this one?

[Side note: As someone from the Global South, I find the characters really endearing. A tad stereotypical perhaps, but the key elements are there. Ado's strong bonds with his roots, his family, and his expressiveness. Tanaka's competitive siblingish rivalry, as well as her vulnerability after the accident. Singh. chefs kiss. ]

EDIT: On PC.

So, apparently, you can back port GRID 2 assets to GRID 1?

I was extremely bored and decided to copy paste some of the Viper assets straight from grid 2 into grid 1's vip folder, it overwrote about 9 files, crashed on launch, reverted the cameras.xml and it launched and now I have a slightly higher LOD viper

If this was already a known thing then my apologies, I've never seen info on this nor do I understanding coding

Mizu Mountain on Formula A

I tried to push as hard as possible but the results still don't impress me.

On Switch, and perhaps on other platforms, when I'm in "Graphics" mode (the highest resolution), I've noticed that certain details, like the backfire on vehicles with exhaust pipes at the rear, are completely lost. I also suspect it's related to the camera's distance; just look at other vehicles, and they display the details perfectly.

I imagine it's a graphics system setting that prevents this, since the problem doesn't occur in "Performance" mode. I'm surprised this hasn't been reported before, even here.
