Stairmaster equivalent for Grouse grind
I’m planning to do the Grouse Grind and want to use the StairMaster at the gym to train for it.
For those who’ve done the Grind before:
How many StairMaster steps/minutes would you consider equivalent to one Grouse Grind?
What StairMaster level do you typically use for training?
Is aiming for ~2,830 steps a reasonable benchmark, given that the Grind has ~800 m of elevation gain?
Any recommended StairMaster workout/progression for preparing for the Grind?
Would love to hear from people who have done the Grouse Grind and also train on the StairMaster.
