I messed up and cut too much off/ too deep of an angle. Any ideas on how to fix this or haircuts that could conceal this?I’m willing to do a more alternative haircut I’d just like to persevere the length as much as possible

Hey, I have been having this “to the side” haircut for like a few years now but I wanna change something and make it match my face shape ideally Ig. My face is kinda long and my nose too. I liked the mentalist, Patrick Jane hair look(3rd picture) you think it would suit me? What haircut should I get? Also any hair products I could use?
I tried short and long and now I don't know what to do.
