Sources say Mr. Burritos MT is opening a location in Helena.

They will be in the old Slim Chicken's location on prospect. The place sounds pretty good and their menu seems legit. We haven't visited the one at four corners near Bozeman. Are they any good?

Sidenote:

I love Mexican food and El Vaquero and El Sabor cover my cravings pretty well. Trying to figure out where Mr Burritos will fit in there. We have a lot of options already!

Watch Party in Helena: The Montana Plan town hall with Pete Buttigieg (Sunday, May 17)

I just saw this on Instagram and wanted to share it in case anyone is interested.

The Transparent Election Initiative is advocating for "The Montana Plan" ballot initiative to get corporate and dark money out of politics. They're hosting a town hall with Pete Buttigieg in Butte on Sunday, May 17th: https://pete.montanaplan.org/

For folks who can't make it to Butte, there's a watch party in Helena on Sunday at 1:30pm at Brothers Tapworks.

Lost/Missing Kitty - Helena Middle School/Ewing Area

Hi,

I came across this pretty sickly looking cat in my neighborhood. They are sweet, no collar, and were walking with a limp.

I couldn't help but put out a bowl of wet food for em. I'm pretty sure I saw this lil guy in the neighborhood about five months ago and am wondering if perhaps he's a long lost companion or the like. On account of their mild manners and listening.

Either way, I've spotted them on Ewing near Helena Middle School.

Need an inhaler, willing to pay.

Hey everyone, I normally order my asthma medication online and have it shipped but for some reason it got returned to the post office today. I just was wondering if anyone has any extra inhalers I could purchase off of them or just an almost empty or something like that. Thanks!

I'm posting in the Helena subreddit because I'm in Helena, one of your neighbors (near the cathedral) and not a scammer. I am only 67% computer literate. I downloaded LibreOffice and used it thinking that it was interchangeable with Microsoft Word. I decided I don't like LibreOffice and deleted it. The issue is that the one and only document that I spent all day writing using Libre is NOT compatible with Word and I can't open it. I don't really want to re-download Libre for a single file. Therefore I was wondering if one of my fellow Helenans has Libre and would be willing to have me email the file, copy/paste into Word or an email, and send it back to me. I'm willing to pay for a coffee, either at BuyMeACoffee or at Firetower. The file is a collection of facts from a book I got at the library called "The Big Bad Book of Botany" and it took me the ENTIRE DAY to read that book and file those facts for an article I'm writing, dang it. Anyway, doesn't hurt to ask, so I'm asking.

Structural engineer

I'm looking for a structural engineer to come take a look at my sagging floor in my 140 year old house.

Most of the engineers I've been able to find locally seem to focus on civil engineering and larger projects than a residential home.

I'm also open to someone with an engineering degree that is not currently employed in the field taking a look at it.

If anyone has experience with this type of thing I'd appreciate a push in the right direction!

Thanks.
