Heads up the young women of Helena re: Conoco on Euclid

My 8th grade daughter was just hit on by the extremely adult, face-tattooed cashier. She was creeped out enough that she booked it home and vowed to never return.

Management says he works Saturdays and Sundays, so maybe avoid that location on those days if you/your daughters/sisters/etc don't enjoy being ogled.

Can anyone point me progressive groups here?

The indivisible group hasn't announced anything since May. Not sure how to find what's up around here.

I’m visiting Helena for the weekend and am looking for hiking trails.

I dont mind driving around an hour for something good. I enjoy cold plunges in natural water so something with a nice river or creek is the goal. A friend suggested a trail starting at hauser dam and following the missouri river. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Urgently looking for antihistamine eyedrops

So apparently neither Walmart nor Safeway has a 24 hour location in Helena anymore, and my daughter is having an allergic reaction that is making her eyeballs swell out of their sockets. This has happened before, but she has managed to lose her antihistamine eye drops. Can't find them anywhere.

Husband is trying Winco on the off chance that they have them, does anyone know of any other options? I extremely do not want to take her to the ER over this, it's not an emergency it's just terrible.

Shout-out to The Hopper for their exceptionally good side salads.

We love a little color and a little crunch, 5/7 perfect score.

Need veterinary recommendation

My friend's little Shih-Poo dog is having GI problems. Can someone recommend a veterinarian that has walk-in availability? (We are visiting for a few weeks.)

We've been feeding her plain rice but she's still needing to go outside several times a night.

Helicopter

Just had a massive Sikorsky CH-53e Super Stallion fly over our office building and absolutely rattle the windows. Checked FlightRadar and saw that it took off from Hamilton. Per a story from KPAX, it looks like they’re working in the Bitterroot to haul supplies and help rebuild the bridge over the Selway. Landed at the Helena airport

Fireworks.

Y'all, it is after 10 pm on a Tuesday, and it's not even July yet. I haven't procured anxiety meds for my dogs, who are now freaking out. My kids have day camp tomorrow. We have things to do in the morning.

Please, can you wait to be hedonistic children until it's no longer a school slash work night? Please?

Teens in silver suburban

If you or your teen drive a silver suburban and your teens are driving it around tonight, I need you to know that they think it is funny to swerve and honk towards the sidewalk when a woman is walking alone in her neighborhood. Then proceed to turn around and follow back up the street. This was around 6th Avenue, and if you heard someone yelling f you- sorry for the disturbance, but I was scared. There was a group of 4 or more in the car and I did make a non-emergent police call in case they try to scare anyone else tonight. It might not seem like a big deal, but please don’t scare women for your amusement when we already live in a lot of fear. And maybe this isn’t a gaggle of teens, but grown adults- which is even more frightening. Preferring to think the former for now

Mosquitoes

Has anyone else noticed that the mosquitoes this year are especially bad? I noticed they were also bad last year, but we are absolutely unable to walk outside without getting swarmed with mosquitoes. I’ve been patrolling our yard for pooling water every day and it doesn’t seem to help. Just wondering if this is a city wide issue or more of a neighborhood problem. Near Carroll if that helps.

Where did Dr. Dodge go?

Hey! Dr. Jennifer Dodge, family doc formerly at SPH, left there. Not sure where she went… anyone here know? Like did she start working elsewhere in town?
