What makes you stop and click an album you've never heard before?
I have a question for musicians.
When you're scrolling through Spotify or Apple Music, what makes you stop and click an album you've never heard before?
The music?
The title?
Or the cover artwork?
As someone who designs album covers, I'm always curious what actually catches people's attention.

youtube.comHow do you actually manage your sample library ?
I’ve been producing for some while and I’ve come across the problem some times.
My sample library is all over the place different drives, random pack folders, Splice downloads dumped everywhere. Mid-session when I need a specific type of sound I end up either spending 20 minutes digging or just giving up and using something familiar.
Curious how other producers actually handle this
[Archive/Documentation] Uncovering The Bomb Squad’s lost history: The Eric "Vietnam" Sadler & Public Enemy archive

I recently acquired an abandoned storage unit that turned out to be a complete production archive from the Golden Era of Hip-Hop. It contains original gear, RIAA plaques, and media belonging to Eric "Vietnam" Sadler and The Bomb Squad.
I am currently in the process of cataloging and documenting these pieces to preserve their history for the community.
I wanted to share this discovery here as I believe many of you appreciate the technical and cultural significance of this specific era of music production. Would love to hear your thoughts on the impact of this collection.
Hi I'd like to get some advice from professional mastering engineers.
I mainly produce Boom Bap instrumentals, and I'm interested in learning more about the best mastering approach for this style. How do you usually approach mastering Boom Bap beats? Are there any specific techniques, compressors, EQ moves, or overall philosophies you recommend?
I'd also love to know which plugins or hardware you use most often for mastering Boom Bap. If you don't mind sharing your mastering chain, I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
