Does anyone in the US want to swap houses next weekend? 4th of July in DC on beautiful Capitol Hill row house

We're considering serious home swap offers anywhere in the U.S. for the July 3–6 weekend.
What we have to offer: a spacious home on Capitol Hill, ideally located between Stanton Park and Lincoln Park. The house features 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a large living room and dining room. Within walking distance of the U.S. Capitol, the Library of Congress, the Supreme Court, Eastern Market, restaurants, and Metro access, making it an excellent base for exploring DC on this America 250 weekend!
We'd love to hear from anyone interested in a mutually beneficial exchange for the holiday weekend.

Advice homeswap

Hi! This summer I’d like to do a home swap using the HomeExchange app, and I’d really appreciate your opinion. I don’t have any reviews yet, and this is my apartment in Barcelona. I’ve uploaded these photos, although my profile is still waiting to be verified.

Do you have any recommendations regarding the listing or the accommodation itself? If you saw these photos, would you choose to stay in this apartment? Is there anything I could change or improve to make more people want to stay here?

Thanks in advance!

Best site to do a swap for my nice Santa Barbara ocean view home for NYC apartment for month

Hey folks - Anyone have suggestions on the best way to do this sort of trade. I have a beautiful 3 bedroom midcentury home in the hills of Santa Barbara and I like to go to NYC when I can and would love to land in a nice place there for a month at a time here and there. Would like to find a comparable high end apartment to swap with someone responsible, of course.

What might be the best site to find vetted folks / homes for something like this.

Exploring a Home Swap

Hi Reddit Readers,

I have a 2 bedroom, two bath condo in Rancho Mirage, CA (next to Palm Springs), at Mission Hills Country Club. 1500 Square feet. Brand new air conditioning. Two small patios. Fully furnished. Walk to swimming pool and hot tub. Bikes. Security gate entrance. Surrounded by greenbelt and three golf courses. Parking available. Two hours to LA, and San Diego, and 90 minutes to beach towns. I'm interested in doing a home swap for three to four weeks in October but not impressed with the inventory on the other side including Paris and London. My husband and i just retired and are interested in trying out a swap for the first time. Please suggest the best approach. Other than inventory, what does Home Exchange offer that i can't do on my own. Thank you!

I'm building the home swap platform I wish existed when I did my first swap. I’m taking a community first approach and would love your input.

A couple of years ago my wife and I swapped our London flat for a house in Toronto, and it completely changed the way we think about travel.

Five weeks, zero accommodation costs. The idea was brilliant. The platforms we found were not. Old school websites, prohibitive costs and no real structure for building trust before you hand a stranger your keys.

So I'm building one that does it better. It's called Havn, and right now I'm looking for founding members. It’s completely free to join, and your feedback will directly shape what gets built.

I’d love to hear from all the swappers on here: what do you love? What frustrated you? What would make you trust a platform enough to list your home?
