So im in a hurry to get a bike for around 3k and my only options are used older bikes but i have started to look at newer groms as an option im just worried if they will be the right fit for me.
Im about 5’8 145 and about half of my commute to work will be on a freeway and in heavy traffic im worried about cars not seeing me in the traffic and the other part of my commute is up and down big hills avoiding lots of potholes and gravel im not sure if a grom will be able to handle that well.
My past bikes have been SV650 Ninja636 KTM790 but i passed my msf course on a grom but other than that i dont know much about them so do you guys think it will be a good fit for my commute?
I’m looking to buy either a used Grom or a new Navi. Since there’s a stop sale on new Groms right now, I’m worried I’ll run into issues buying a used one via private sale. Has anyone run into registration issues on a used Grom recently, even if the registration was just renewed?
I’m in CA
Hoping to scrape before my fork seals go. I feel like I've been a slow learner in this process so please pray for my fork seals. 😶
I’m going to get a grom next spring but get my license pretty soon. I’m curious what you guys think are the best mods. I’d be looking for a louder exhaust, better mirrors, maybe a wrap etc.
Trying to buy this grom pretty new to them making sure it’s real and not a clone. I’ll take a look at the title and look for obvious things but other than that does anything on this look sus or out of the ordinary. Where should I be looking for cracks on the frame what else should I look for before I buy?
About the install a kitaco high comp piston, kitaco uni filter, kitaco type 1 cam and kitaco 3 row oil cooler. Having my ecu tuned by dhm. I also have the Takegawa cam chain tensioner and bearing support to be installed. Was considering the ENDURANCE Lightweight Flywheel while I’m working on the side of the engine anyways. I already have a yoshi rs2 and kitaco clutch cover that deletes the oil spinner installed on the bike. Thoughts?
Any opinions of what this noise could be ? bike rode fine then wouldn’t start and this noise developed so walked it home.
😂😂😂 I definitely made it fit
Anywhere in or around Dallas that is selling a grom?
Looking for a used 2020 or newer (prefer newer) and literally can’t find one anywhere.
Marketplace doesn’t have many options. Super expensive and beat to crap.
Who knows when the stop sale is lifted?? I hear so many different things.
Annoyed af
I still need to weld on some tabs to utilize the bolt holes on the sides
First bike and new owner here. Happy to be a part of this community.
The bike has been sitting because I was working on replacing the clutch plates on whatever free time I could find. Put it all back together and now the bike won’t start.
First video (12s) is with a lithium battery holding ~13.38V. No start but a small squeal.
Second video (15s) is with a new AGM battery holding ~12.5V. Strong kick and then bike shuts off then turns back on.
Is it still a battery issue or a starter problem?
I trouble shot everything from kickstand, clutch, kill switch, neutral.
Any help is greatly appreciated. And apologies in advance if I don’t respond in a timely manner.
Thanks in advance and happy 4th!
Hello everyone!
I purchased the Grom new from Honda for my very first bike, it has under 200 miles on it, but the sound of the bike is really getting to me, I have a 360 camera mounted just under the registration and L plate and there's always this constant rattling when I ride around, I'm not sure what it could be as I've never owned a motorbike before. The sound was there before I added the 360 camera so it can't be that, I also have clips of it captured on my helmet camera.
Here's two clips from that 360 camera:
- Faster speeds (40-50mph): https://streamable.com/pbtgei
- Slower speed (stopping at traffic): https://streamable.com/v5k2vd
Does anyone have any idea at all what this could be? Or should I just take it to a garage and have them look at it? Thank you :)
I'm kind of new to riding and have a 2025 Grom SP. I was wondering if it would be worth it to get an oil pump and oil cooler even though I'm not doing wheelies but I am 6'1 230lbs and was wondering if it would be better to get the upgrades to keep the temp down since it's not a water cooled bike with a radiator? Any advice would be great, thanks
Hey guys just wanted to show off my first ever design. Had some help from Morg mini moto to produce these, made from Billet
I am looking to get an exhaust for my 2026 Honda Grom. I am wondering what previous years I can buy for example would one for a 2022 model fit? Also would love some recommendations if you have any.
Cheers!
Is there still a stop sale on new groms due to fuel emissions? Is it still possible to pass emissions with a used grom (2024) and register the bike in Colorado? From what I understand, new vehicles 7 years or newer does not have to go through emissions. Does this include the grom? Anyone have issues passing emissions and registering their bike?
Thanks
Just bought my first Grom used, it had been barely used so I wasn’t surprised there were some webs on it. However, I popped the seat off today and uncovered a world of horror.
I have been ridding around all giddy for the past couple of weeks with no clue a large family of spiders were riding along as well. There are so many 😑
How do I get rid of them without spraying my bike down with some of kind of bug spray. I feel like that would not be good for the bike. I have considered setting it on fire.
Edit to add: they appear to be Sac Spiders, so at least not dangerous just a bit creepy and fast
