Is Twister Oklahoma's greatest cultural export? I think there's a pretty strong case for it.

Hey guys I really want to go my fiancé can’t go but I don’t know anyone. Would anyone be open to hanging and standing with me so I’m not alone

People often ask me who my favorite band is, and my immediate answer is: Hot Mulligan. A lot of time, the question that follows is "why?".

Honestly, I LOVE the verbiage and vocabulary that this band uses. I appreciate it, especially as a high school English teacher.
Tell me another band that is able to make the word "transubstantiate" sound so good 🤪

HM plays in various semi-unusual guitar tunings. If you tried to play one of their songs (or any other Midwest emo songs) you likely know what I’m talking about. Basically, they don’t often play in standard or drop d (the most common tunings).

Does anyone know of any listings out there that show the guitar tuning for each song, on a list? I know I can make my own by checking tabs for every single song, but I figured I’d ask if there was a better way, before I did that.

Ideally I’d like to see a list of their songs, categorized by the guitar tunings.

I was hoping to propose to my long term partner at an upcoming show. Is it generally frowned upon to do so?

Fan of Hot Mulligan for about 3 years here but didn't really deep dive until last year. I obviously worked out fairly quickly that the songs titles have absolutely nothing to do with the songs most of the time.

Firstly, I wanted to know what song title are people's favourites? I personally have always liked "Something About A Bunch Of Dead Dogs" solely because no other band/genre could make a song with that title.

Secondly, does anyone out there have a way that they remember all the song names? Often I will talk to a friend and recommend a song to them but I will have to look it up to remember the name of a song

To a long and very happy relationship. Its nice to have someone along for the ride (i am very much happy i committed to finding her she has literally been a late night wish (where you just wish for the right person and the small things you wished for calm understanding is supportive and not demoralising) we both for once don’t feel enveloped by how we feel for each other and it’s something new i have never experienced but wishes for in my life for what really love i think feels like and its strong its easy its calm and it doesn’t feel like we are rushing into it to quickly.

Again feels like the fantasy i have wished for. And i met her at a Hot Mulligan concert then lost her then her friend found me and now she is my girlfriend my partner in life.
