Israeli hummus on the beach

With a hard boiled egg and a giant slab of tahini

Edit: it’s funny that a picture of hummus triggered so many people because they assume this is a Jewish spot. But I haven’t said if the spot is Jewish or Arab. And I’m not going to. :).

Best hummus toppings?

Not sure if toppings is the right word to say… maybe Ingredients? Idk… anyways,

I only ate hummus once with mushrooms, chili powder, beef and olive oil.

Following some posts here.. what do you eat your hummus with?

We see different posts from different countries. A lot of them have different side-dishes to complement the hummus, and I wonder what is more common and what is specific to a country.
It seems obvious that falafel, pine nuts and tahini is common for everyone more or less.
Does egg?
Zhug?
Onion?
All spice (wtf for me lol)?
Almonds?

What are common in your country, and what's a great combo you found but your country rejects?

For the love of hummus!

This amazing sub is getting ruined by people who don't really love hummus, they love fighting and arguing, and being racist assholes.
This is easy to see every time Israel or Palestine is mentioned.
So, for the benefit of the rest of us, please, all the people who want to argue or deny Israel/Palestine identities, comment to this post so the rest of us can block you and enjoy seeing beautiful photos of hummus bowls, share recipes and experiences about this amazing dish, understanding that the things that connect us are much more important than the things that divide us.
Peace and love to all.

Edit:
For the sake of all of us, I will update a block list here:

This sub exists! Also a question about small batches

First of all, I don't know why the algorithm showed me this sub today but I'm so delighted to learn that it exists. The pictures are already making me super hungry.

Second of all, this is clearly the place to bring a question that always bothers me. What do people do about keeping relatively small amounts of homemade hummus on hand?

I make hummus sometimes, but it's kind of time consuming and then I end up with a huge amount of hummus so I'm either eating it all the time or trying to freeze it or *gasp* wasting it.

I always have dried chickpeas on hand, and am not really trying to start buying canned chickpeas.

Does anyone regularly make small batches of hummus starting with dried chickpeas? What's your technique/recipe/method?

Thanks!
