We need a hybrid burger that combines the flame-grilled patties with the actual crunchy chicken from the Jack's Fried Chicken range. Call it the land monster or something. Surely someone working the line has experimented with this on their break

You used to be able to get a Whopper with Cheese for just $2! Kids these days will never understand just how good we had it. I’m renting my house to a couple of uni students right now and they’re frequently late on rent. Haha! At least I have my memories of a cheaper hungry jacks!

So I was at the drive through tonight and I reached the window to pay for my food in cash, I was asked if I wanted to donate $2 to some kind of charity, now personally I never give money to these corporations just so they can have a deduction I like to make my own donations to things I believe in, I was then asked an additional time if I was SURE I didn’t want to donate and then a third time if I wanted to round up, and when I said no all three times they made a really weird face and I overheard another worker say “it’s just two dolla-“ as they were closing the window, is this normal? Have you guys experienced something like this before? My first no should’ve sufficed, just a really weird experience and it really put me off going to HJ again at least not this one.

Oh and they missed one of my order items 🙃

If you are ordering a meal, do you stick with the standard chips or upgrade to the onion rings? The chips have improved massively since they changed the recipe a few years back, but a good batch of onion rings dipped in smoky bbq sauce is elite. Which side are you on?

Sometimes you grab a drive-thru meal to take home, get stuck in unexpected peak-hour traffic, and by the time you sit down at the table it's been 25 minutes. The bun is completely soggy from the trapped steam, the lettuce has wilted into slimy green strings, and the mayo has turned into a translucent oil puddle. What is the absolute maximum travel time before a meal is completely ruined?

I remember there was a guy who worked at my local Hungry Jacks that was very rude to customers who I think it would be hilarious to see go down the slide

I also remember there was a guy who dropped his Coke outside Hungry Jacks in 2004, maybe they could track him down and get him down the slide

So me and my mates have decided that we are going to participate in computer chair races where we basically race each other on computer chairs in different areas

We would love to try this inside a HJ’s

What’s the best store in Australia to do this?

For me I last would have eaten there in 2023 but I take my friend there a fair bit through the drive thru who doesn’t have a license

The thread really took off, mostly with people giving answers to when they last ate at HJ’s but a fair few comments have also addressed “which store”

I am very aware that the question has its negative connotations, and because of that I didn’t expect many people to actually genuinely answer it…in which most people didn’t. They answered how they wished and that’s perfectly ok. I am the type of person that has a bit of a warped sense of humor where I will deliberately write something cringe/odd knowing that it’s weird with the intent/hope being that the people who answer it respond back in a funny way and “get the joke”. Because it’s the internet and intent of text is hard to gauge…it backfired with many people

Late last night I stopped asking the question, however roughly 16 hours later I’m still getting comments asking me to stop, because people are seeing it written down. Just wanted to make it very clear that gag has stopped, the train has left the station, the whoppers have left the store…as for which store? All of them because it’s finished
