iPhone 11 3951 cycles. Has inside battery is cooked (49 more away)

I have another battery from aftermarket it’s 100% health and 3600mah high capacity. I will replace it battery get 4000 cycles or 69% health..

69% health are very creepy for me 😁

49 cycles more away to get 4k!!

Weatherglow is the best new (free!!) weather app I’ve ever seen

As stated in the title, I am obsessed with weather and trying out new weather apps, possibly unhealthily so lol. I’ve downloaded and tried dozens (hundreds?) of apps across the years on android and iOS.

Weatherglow is by far the best start to a new weather app I have ever seen.

It has a beautiful, and unique retro-futuristic design language, with multiple themes included.

It has incredibly useful features I've never seen quite like this in a weather app before. A sweat index?! My pasty European self living in the hot and humid US south loves the validation of knowing I’m not crazy for sweating like a horse the second I step outside in this ridiculous heat wave.

And it’s (currently at least?) all for the low cost of free! But really, I would be shocked if an app of this caliber stays free forever. AND! it's all powered by weather kit so the accuracy is great so far, for me at least.

This app is seriously the best, so happy to have come across it. If you are looking for an accurate, legitimately unique and useful daily weather app with a bold design language, PLEASE give this one a try. You owe it to yourself.

Ps, I am not at ALL affiliated with this app or the creator. I just love it and wanted to share haha :)

I finally changed the battery guys😂lol

If anyone remembers my last post, my battery health was at about 50% and i was getting not more than 3 hours on a charge. I changed it yesterday and for the first time i almost went a full day without recharging. I unplugged it at 11am and it got to 20% at around 5:30pm. Thats almost 7 hours😁

History battery health! 3949 cycles

I’m so very happy cuz dropped to 70%…
If it’s 69% im so cooked cuz reaching to 69% are kinda very scary than 79%
69% looks creepy for me

Idk why im so happy 😭

11 to 17

So, I'm a long-time iPhone 11 user and always updated to the actual operating system. But since my battery dropped far below 80% (and because it's a company phone) I got me a new iPhone 17.
I have to say, I'm not very impressed of the performance difference between the two.
But I mainly use it for mails, news reading, podcasts, sport tracking which is not very CPU demanding...
The new battery life is of course a blessing.

Anyone here replaced the battery on their iPhone 11? How did it turn out?

My iPhone 11 is sitting at 72% battery health now, and I'm at the point where I need to decide whether it's worth replacing the battery or finally moving on to a newer phone.

Apple battery replacement is a bit more expensive than I'd like, so I've started looking at some aftermarket options instead. A local repair shop recommended one that supports battery health reporting and is supposed to be closer to the original experience, but I don't know anyone who's actually been using one for a while.

If you've gone with an aftermarket battery, how has it held up? Has the battery life been noticeably better, and have you run into any issues with heating, battery health dropping quickly, or anything else you wish you'd known beforehand?

I'd really like to hear from people who've been using one for a few months before I decide what to do.
