Replaced my 13 pro max with a 17PM
So, a few weeks back, I accidentally broke my front display. Even though the phone was still working, it kept stuttering and the charging port was super worn out, so I was really depending on MagSafe to charge it.
The battery was severely depleted, lasting only five hours on a single charge, leaving only 74% of its original capacity. Replacing the battery, screen, and charging port would’ve cost me more than getting a second hand 13pm.Besides, I’m not getting aftermarket replacement parts because I bricked my iPhone XR doing that 7 years ago.
So, I decided to bite the bullet and get a 17 PM. I still love my old phone and will definitely keep using it, but I reckon five years is a good time to think about getting a new one.
Iphone 13 pro max infinite bootloop
Hi everyone,
I need some help with my issue. It started when my phone’s battery got drained, then it went into an infinite boot loop. I tried doing a hard restart but it was still the same. Then I tried using Apple devices to auto-update the software and restore factory settings, but it got stuck on the loading screen and showed an error on the Apple device. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.
Going Great??

Replaced screen and battery at a 3rd party shop-anyone else running their phone with "Unknown Part" warnings?
Hey everyone,
My iPhone 13 Pro Max recently got the dreaded green screen flickering issue, and the battery health was also pretty low. Since I plan on upgrading to a newer model in an year or two, I didn't want to shell out official Apple prices for the repairs. I decided to take it to a third-party shop to get both the screen and battery replaced.
After getting it back, I'm seeing the "Unknown Part" messages in my settings for both components (as shown in the picture).
I've thoroughly tested the phone: Face ID, True Tone, and touch responsiveness across the entire screen are all working perfectly fine. The only real annoyance is the warning text in the settings menu.
For those of you who have gone the third-party route:
Are any of you actively using your phone with these "Unknown Part" warnings?
Have you run into any issues while software updates and all? , or does it just continue to work fine despite the notifications?
Would love to hear about your experiences!

iPhone 13 Max is my forever iPhone
I’ve been using my Sierra Blue 256gb 13 pro max since launch and the only problem I’ve had is the bottom charger not working. It stopped working around 5 years ago and since then I’ve just been using a mag safe charger. I would have upgraded years ago but the newer iPhones don’t have a SIM card tray and I like to switch between my other phones whenever I feel like it. It still holds up strong with an 83% battery life. I might have to just use this thing until the wheels fall off unfortunately.
iPhone 13 Pro Max camera question
I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max that is working perfectly fine. Only issue is I have a busted camera lense and a scratched camera. Has anyone replaced the camera in one and what were the actual issues? I have no issues with taking things apart, replacing components, soldering etc. probably not worth putting a new camera in but has anyone done a used camera module? And will iOS 26 actually let you install it?
I am going to upgrade eventually, just trying to get a little more time out of this one before I upgrade.

My 13 Pro Max battery is still holding up like it’s brand new
I bought this phone back in January 2025 as a pre-loved device and the battery health was at 98% with 124 charge cycles that time. A year and a half later, the battery is still the same. It’s still 98% on the settings and 93.05% via analytics.
I didn’t also strictly charge my phone 20-80% all the time as they recommend. I just don’t let it hot. I use a mini-fan to charge it when the environment is warm. I also use an Apple 20W adapter and Anker PowerLine+ II cable. That’s it!
My expectations for this phone has exceeded and I will definitely not upgrading soon!
My iPhone 13 Pro Max won't turn off its screen.
For the past couple of days, my iPhone 13 Pro Max hasn't been turning off the screen until I press the side lock button. I don't know what happened. This isn't an Always-On Display issue; however, I wanted to check whether it really is an Always-On Display issue or not. But I couldn't find the Always-On Display option on my phone, which is a bit strange.
Please help me out.
Ios 26.5.2
Will iOS 26.5.2 bring any improvements for our iPhone 13 Pro Max?
I think mine is about to die. ☹️
i still regret selling my 13 pro max
ive been using an iphone air and have been enjoying it, but i feel like i havent really gained anything (aside from the drop in weight which i was pretty used to anyways)
on my 13pm; the speakers were better, the screen was bigger, the battery was way better even at 86%, im not noticing any actually improvement in terms of fluidity etc
dont get me wrong, the air is cool. i also tried a base 17 and 17 pro max. but i really regret selling my 13 pro max because i was gaslit by ai marketing hype (which still sucks, i got the ios 27 DB 2 and siri is still stupid to the point of not working at least half the time, or giving answers way dumber than gemini)
i spent hundreds of dollars after selling my 13pm for this air and its like i just pissed money down the drain and am actually kinda worse off for it
Looking to change my battery
My battery is almost finished, and I am looking to change it to a new one.
For thise of you that have changed your batteries, how many of you have changed it at an official service with a certified part, and how many have changed at a independent service shop with a non original or original part.
Need to hear some experiences and maybe some advice.
Thanks
Does battery change warrant a backup and restore?
Planning to go for battery change for my phone and wanted to check if I need to backup the data before the swapping?
Does removing battery cause any data loss?
Thanks!
Who else got iphone air but after using few days switched back to 13PM?
reddit.comIs this iPhone 13 Pro Max legit?
Hi Reddit, ( sorry if this was the wrong subreddit it didn’t know where else to put it )
I’ve come across an iPhone 13 Pro Max that’s still sealed in its original packaging. The seller has uploaded photos of the back of the box, including the serial number.
( I have erased the serial number in the image attached
Myself but it is present in the original image )
I’ve already checked the serial number on Apple’s website, and it confirms that it’s an iPhone 13 Pro Max and that it hasn’t been activated yet. One thing I did notice, though, is that Apple’s serial number check page shows an iOS 26 wallpaper in the background. I’m not sure if that means anything.
My main question is: does the packaging look real? and is there anything that looks suspicious?
The seller is asking $985 AUD.
Thanks so much

I finally added the #1 requested feature to my app ProDocktive: Files & Folders on the desktop! 📁
Hey everyone! For those who haven't seen my previous posts, I make an app called ProDocktive. It basically turns your iPhone into a full multi-window desktop when you plug it into an external monitor or AR glasses (kind of like Samsung DeX, but for iOS).
Since launch, the biggest piece of feedback I've gotten is that a desktop isn't really a desktop without folders.
I just pushed a new update today that finally fixes that!
You can now save, drag, drop, and arrange files and folders directly on your workspace, just like a Mac or PC.
Getting this to work natively on iOS was a tricky technical hurdle, but it makes the app feel infinitely more like a "real" computer.
The update is live on the App Store. I would love to hear what you guys think, or what feature I should tackle next!
