So basically i replaced the battery on a complete reset iphone 14 plus (iOS 26.6) and then only installed apps needed for the test, while putting it against my personal 13 pro max with many apps, which has a slightly less fresh battery (60 cycles), ip14P at 60Hz, 13PM at 120Hz, auto brightness and true tone ON, how did the 13PM still win (its also on iOS26.6 for fairness), THEY HAVE THE SAME SIZE BATTERY, is 13pm just the goat?

I was scrolling a bit and doing study flashcards on chrome, was on CELLULAR the whole time, how, 13 Pro max

I noticed a good gain in my SOT, THE REASON: I removed my privacy screen guard 🙏😭, the brightness levels used to be way higher all the time, compared to now, to get same level of visibility, made a huge difference (1st is before, 2nd is after), the power saving mode is only cosmetic to slow down background refresh withojt affecting anything else

im surprised i noticed this for the first time in 2 yrs, idk if it was always like this, but my personal S24U has screen grain, its the 1st time in 2 yrs im using it without a screen guard, i had a privacy guard for a long time, now that i have seen it, its gonna bug me forever, any workarounds/ways to mitigate with software?

I just did an iFixit battery replacement last month for like 34 euros, the battery uplift blew my mind, coming from 79% health and average 6 hours ish screen time with similar use, the phone has a long life left in it, anyone contemplating, its worth it

I had a pad 6 before, on hyperos2, switched to pad 8 pro on hyperos3 bcz it was on sale, but after few months of use, im disappointed, too aggressive of a Ram management, crashes in game, poor battery life, even comparing to my pad 6, speakers r worse, any clue when its getting fixed, especially Ram management and battery life, cz the last update was in March, nothing after, its frustrating, my primary use is for college and notes, but the battery is annoying me, any solutions? The only thing holding me rnw is the chip and better display

I get almost the same SOT in near half the battery (power saver is cosmetic, only options turned on, are reduced brightness and dark mode)
