Concern Regarding Mess Food Quality and Staff Behaviour
I want to raise a genuine concern regarding the mess food and the behaviour of the mess aunty.
The quality of food has been consistently disappointing. The taste is often poor, and almost every day there seems to be some issue with the food—whether it is cleanliness, quality, or something unexpected being found in the meal. This has become a regular problem rather than an occasional incident.
Apart from the food quality, the behaviour of the mess aunty towards students is also not appropriate. Rudeness of the aunty toward students is not accepatable how can a mere mess manager have so guts to shout on students.They use cheap tactics to save thier budget.
I have also heard from my seniors she accuses false claim for mistreating her . Basically she uses her female card on us students.
The type of food is completely unacceptable for the price we are paying.
And, I am also shocked how everyone is chill with it i am not satisfied with the menu for 7000/month i am paying for the mess. Even the evening have no snacks all other messes provide even at 3000/months
We understand that maintaining a mess for a large number of students is difficult, but students are paying for the service and deserve decent-quality, hygienic food and respectful behaviour.
How are these seniors not saying something why are they so quiet how are they not getting offeneded by these mere workers' attitude.If I would be there I would do anything to throw her out of this mess.
The Constant Bugs are found in the food some time flies some time larva and even bettles. I am scared how many myself i have eaten. Even after constant reminders the management does not listen at all.

It would be good if the administration/mess management could look into this seriously and take appropriate action to improve both the food quality and staff behaviour.
Hopefully, this issue can be addressed instead of being ignored.

Honest review
If you're considering joining this college, do yourself a favour: DO NOT make your decision based on the college website, promotional material, counsellors, or carefully selected reviews. Come here, investigate it yourself, and talk to current students before paying ₹15–20 lakh.
I'm saying this because the gap between what is presented to prospective students and what students actually deal with here is enormous.
This isn't about wanting a fancy campus or endless festivals.
We're talking about basic educational infrastructure.
There is no proper campus, no proper library, inadequate living accommodation, poor Wi-Fi, inadequate power backup, and a serious lack of basic facilities and student activities. After years of operation, these are not reasonable shortcomings to simply dismiss as “development in progress.”
And the biggest problem?
Even the classroom education itself is inadequate.
No meaningful outside exposure would be disappointing.
But when there isn't enough meaningful learning INSIDE the classroom either, what exactly are students paying ₹15–20 lakh for?
You can tolerate the absence of clubs, events and a massive campus if the institution gives you exceptional teaching and skills.
But if you're getting neither the environment nor the education, the value proposition becomes extremely difficult to justify.
THE PLACEMENT STORY NEEDS TO BE QUESTIONED
The standard defence is:
“At least there are placements.”
Look at the actual numbers.
There are approximately 130 eligible students in the current batch, with around 5 placements at this stage.
And if you're looking at batches of around 250 students, prospective students should seriously ask what the placement picture looks like at that scale.
Obviously, the final numbers can change as the placement season continues.
But don't let anyone distract you with one impressive package or a list of company logos.
Ask for:
Total eligible students.
Total students placed.
Number of offers.
Median package.
Average package.
Number of recruiting companies.
Number of students receiving multiple offers.
The placement rate matters far more than the highest package.
There have also been documented problems involving Wi-Fi, infrastructure and hospitality affecting placement activities and company visits.
If companies stop visiting or recruitment is affected because the institution cannot provide basic infrastructure and hospitality, students pay the price.
THE ACADEMIC CULTURE IS ANOTHER MAJOR PROBLEM
The issue isn't simply that some teachers are old-fashioned.
The teaching mindset itself can feel decades behind.
Students can be expected to remain in faculty's good books, comply with demands, and avoid openly challenging professors. Attendance can carry enormous weight, and students who question or criticise faculty can fear academic consequences.
That is not what a healthy academic institution should look like.
Students should be evaluated on what they learn and produce—not on how effectively they flatter faculty or stay on their good side.
There are also documented cases concerning student research being used in publications where faculty receive authorship or attribution despite the student's contribution.
If a student performs substantive research work, authorship and credit should follow actual contribution and accepted academic standards.
Students should not be treated as free research labour for someone else's promotion or career advancement.
And when faculty publicly present personal achievements that can be checked against available records, students are entitled to question claims that don't stand up to verification.
THE ADMINISTRATION IS NOT HELPING
For genuine student problems, the administration can be extremely difficult to approach.
Students have encountered rude, dismissive and unhelpful responses instead of a transparent grievance system.
A student shouldn't have to be afraid of approaching administration with a legitimate problem.
Administration exists to solve student problems—not make students regret bringing them forward.
AND THEN THERE'S THE LACK OF DEVELOPMENT
This may be the most frustrating part.
The institution has existed for years, yet basic infrastructure and student facilities remain inadequate.
Meanwhile, student intake is being expanded.
That raises an obvious question:
Where is the corresponding development?
If you're increasing the number of students without developing classrooms, accommodation, Wi-Fi, library resources, campus facilities, student activities and placement infrastructure at the same pace, you're expanding the intake without adequately expanding the institution.
A college cannot simply keep adding seats and expect students to accept the same deficiencies indefinitely.
A college should develop alongside its student population.
DON'T TRUST THE FIVE-STAR STORY
There have also been concerns surrounding the recent external evaluation involving EY as part of a government initiative.
Students should have been able to give completely honest feedback about teaching, infrastructure, administration and student life.
If the evaluation produces overwhelmingly positive feedback while students simultaneously experience major problems with infrastructure, teaching, placements and administration, that deserves scrutiny.
An external review should capture reality—not simply the version of reality that looks good on paper.
SO HERE'S MY ADVICE TO PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS
PLEASE REVIEW THIS COLLEGE BEFORE YOU JOIN.
Not the website.
Not the brochure.
Not the counsellor's presentation.
THE ACTUAL COLLEGE.
Come here physically.
Talk privately to students.
Talk to students from multiple batches.
Check the library.
Check the Wi-Fi.
Check the accommodation.
Check the classrooms.
Ask about actual placement numbers.
Ask for the median package.
Ask how many eligible students actually received offers.
Ask what students genuinely learn in class.
Ask how research authorship works.
Ask how complaints against faculty are handled.
Ask what happens when students criticise administration.
Ask what has actually been developed over the past few years.
And most importantly:
COMPARE WHAT YOU ARE PROMISED WITH WHAT CURRENT STUDENTS CAN VERIFY.
Because ₹15–20 lakh is not a small investment.
You're buying four years of your life.
And if the result is poor infrastructure + inadequate classroom learning + weak exposure + questionable academic practices + inaccessible administration + disappointing placement outcomes, prospective students deserve to know that before they commit.
I'm not asking anyone to blindly believe this post either.
VERIFY EVERY CLAIM.
That is exactly the point.
Come here. Investigate. Talk to students. Check the numbers. Compare other colleges. Then make your decision.
Because once you've paid ₹15–20 lakh and spent years here, discovering that the reality is very different from what you were promised is an extremely expensive way to learn a lesson.
Don't buy the marketing. Verify the institution.
