Guys ,I have been alloted IIT BHU Mechnical brnach in R2 ,The online hatred I am seeing Against is giving anxiety ,during choice filling i thinked that IIT BHU is legacy college and great alumini and placment ,I saw many reddit post where it saying IIT BHU is worst IIT ,goons on their bike travel in the campus(due to open campus ) easily . After reading those reddit post ,it feel is IIT BHU worth it(i am not talking peeers and alll and talking about college life ,night life)

I am entering in CS and my cpi during my internship season will be at max 8 motsly between 7.5-8, if i become a CM on codeforces well it help me compensate for my cpi?
Also what else can i do to do good in my intern season?

I recently graduated got a 6-month SDE internship paying ₹25k/month with a performance-based PPO (I've heard around 80–90% get converted if they perform well). At the same time, I have an opportunity to take a teaching job in a Tier-2 city paying ₹50k/month. My family's financial situation isn't great, so the extra income would really help.

I'm not a pro coder—I started doing DSA because my friends did, but I eventually fell in love with solving problems. Should I take the internship and try for the PPO, or choose the teaching job and prepare for SDE off-campus interviews on the side? I'd really appreciate your advice.

Like the entrance exams are difficult what about the class test,quizes and mid sem difficulty are they even more difficult or at same level as nits or iiits

The biggest plus point of IIT-BHU has been its alumni network. Some of them are in very hugh positions in several org. Something the Tier 2 IITs (even Hyderabad) doesn't have.

Alumni donations were unfortunately never explored by insti until recently.

Alumni have been helpful in placements as well (when mainstream offers were rescinded).

Are minors just one single course or multiple courses you take in the rest of the semesters?

What is eligibility criteria of companies for mtech students? Like 10-12th marks criteria is there? My 12th marks are less than 75%, am I fcked? Please guide🙏

Just saw some shit head fuckers throwing plastic water bottle inside campus without considering any shame when the campus strictly follow no plastic policy.

I think it's high time to maintain outside people regulations to keep campus clean.
