Hey all, I'm an Indy passholder in Boston and I built an iPhone/iPad app for us, because I was tired of checking blackout dates on one site, the trail map on another, and lift status on a third.

It's called IndiePeaks. What it does:

- Blackout dates for your pass type (Base, Indy+, Learn to Turn, XC), so you can see at a glance where you can ski on a given day

- Trail maps saved on your phone, so they actually load on the chairlift with no signal (263 mountains so far)

- Live lift and trail status for about 200 mountains, pulled from each resort's own report

- Snow forecasts for the summit and the base

- A log of your ski days, if you want to track your season

It's free. No ads, no account, no subscription. It's not affiliated with Indy, just a fan project.

It has every Indy resort. The app lists 291, because big multi-mountain areas like Portes du Soleil and the Innsbruck network are one entry each, the same way Indy's website lists them. Count each mountain separately and you get Indy's 300+. One caveat: it's iPhone/iPad only for now, sorry Android folks.

If something's wrong for your home mountain (dates, lifts, anything), tell me here or tap "Report Incorrect Info" on that resort's Mountain tab and I'll fix it. And I'd love to hear what's missing.

Which mountain to ski in the alps?

I'm trying to plan a trip with some friends and I'm a bit overwhelmed by the variance of the European ski resorts on Indy. Anyone been to these mountains and have tips/recommendations? Context:
- Advanced mix of skiiers/snowboarders. Love sidecountry and hikes to cool peaks or bowls.

- All in our 20s. Main goal is the snow tbh but having some type of apres nearby would be nice.

- Needs to be in the alps due to other travel considerations.

- Travel is in early January which I know isn't the best for snowpack, but thoughts on where in the alps might have a better chance for good snow at that time is a plus.

- Want to make it an Indy mountain partially because I have the pass so why not use it, but also because I love the vibe of the smaller mountains here in the US. More ski culture and less corporate.

Any thoughts?

Update: My free Indy Pass map & resort tracker has grown — now supporting Epic and Ikon too! (2026/27)

A while back, I shared a simple map tool I built to make exploring Indy Pass resorts easier.

Since then, I've been working on expanding it into a more complete ski pass planning tool.

The original Indy Pass features are still there, but the site now also supports Epic Pass and Ikon Pass, with updated information for the 2026/27 season.

Here's what you can do:

  • Explore Indy Pass resorts on an interactive map or in a sortable, filterable table.
  • Compare resorts by vertical drop, terrain, snowfall, size, and other available statistics.
  • Track your Indy Pass days at each resort and keep a list of places you want to visit.
  • Check access restrictions, including blackout dates, reservation requirements, and included ski days.
  • Find resorts near you and compare potential ski trips based on your location.
  • Calculate your pass value to see how much you're getting out of your ski days.
  • Explore Epic and Ikon resorts using the same platform, with their own pass-specific access rules.

The biggest goal hasn't changed: make it easier to discover smaller ski areas, plan trips, and get the most out of your pass without jumping between a dozen websites.

It's still completely free, with no account required.

Check it out: https://skipass-sheet.com

I'd especially love feedback from fellow Indy Pass holders.

Is there anything missing that would make planning your Indy Pass season easier? Any filters, resort information, or features you'd find particularly useful?

Thanks to everyone who checked out the original version!
