14 Day Challenge: Day 1

14 Day Challenge: Day 1

Not gonna lie the blocking got me a lil messed up and the blending finished me afterwards. I feel like I could have put some more work in the eyes and maybe I overblended the area around the mouth? Would appreciate some critiques so I can move on to the next one :D

Sorry in advance!

Sorry for making you all look at Digital Circus art! I’m personally not a fan, just making this to try and get more engagement on Instagram. Anyone have any ideas on how I can make this better/more visually interesting? Maybe more color in the background?

How to tickle out the last 5%?

My biggest concern with this one is: how do I get it to this main point of POW? The anatomy is not 100% correct, I can see the back eye is slightly off, but I am also really struggeling with the lower part of her skull. Idk if the shadow is wrong or if it's the neck but I am def missing something here. Pls help
And if someone has tips as to how to improve the staging here that is also welcome:)

14 DC Day 2

Im much more comfortable blocking this time, and my symmetry seems to also improve compared to the last portrait. Any critique/feedback will very much be appreciated! :)

14 Day Challenge: Day 2

Hello, here is my Day 2! Again, I would like to please request some critique so that I can move on to the next day. Thank you for viewing!

Thank you all for your suggestions!

First slide is after critique, second slide is before. I know the light sources are very vague, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to do much about it since the majority of this is painted on one layer. It’s definitely something I will keep in mind on future work! Do you guys have any final suggestions? 🙏

14 DC Day 1

I did this by following along Istebrak's Portraiture Masterclass. I had a bit of a trouble with smudging the piece since the scatter brush settings didnt transfer to CSP so i had to tweak it myself. I've noticed my blocking is a bit messy at times aswell. Any form of critique will be appreciated, thank you! <3
