I Miss This Place
Always a great beer selection, the best burgers (until Street Burger came along), and Dave was great conversation.

Would love to hear your experiences (good and bad)
Upper Kapahi. We lost power for like a couple hours yesterday and that was it. When it went out I was expecting it to be out for the rest of the day at least. I was amazed when it came back on and stayed on. My auntie saw the KIUC trucks out driving around during the worst of it. It wasn’t that long ago that if you sneezed the power would be out for half a day. I know south side got it worse but I’m impressed how well the grid handled this storm. Mahalo to the workers out in the storm trying to keep the lights on!
They said they would start working on this after they have cleared Tree Tunnel Rd…have to go down to Lawai and come back down Koloa Rd to get to Poipu…
I honestly didn't realize this is a thing. It's such a remote location. I wonder where everyone parks? Can I have your opinion - is it stepping on local's toes? Or just the usual Exploitation...
Hi everyone! I lost a very sentimental ring tonight (August 11) at Poʻipū Beach and I’m desperately hoping someone with a metal detector can help me find it.
I lost it around 7:45 PM, right along the waterline where the sand meets the ocean. We were on the right side of the turtles when facing the water. I can point out the general area where I believe I lost it.
If you have a metal detector that works in wet sand/shallow water, or know someone on Kauaʻi who does lost-ring recovery, please DM me or comment below.
I’m hoping to search as soon as possible before the waves/tide move it farther.
Thank you so much! ❤️
Please think about donating. Apparently, there is a big shortage. They do the drives every few months at Sheraton in Kapa'a. Make an appointment here.
