Does new Beauty of Joseon sunscreen irritate your eyes?

I have EXTREMELY sensitive eyes, many people suggest to just switch to mineral ones, but I tried it before and they irritate my eyes even more.

My favorite sunscreens so far have been skin 1004 Water-Fit Sun Serum, but on some days, it can still irritate my eyes, I thought that it might be due to niacinamide in it.

I know that old BOJ Relief Sun Rice Probiotics irritated some people, have any of you experienced irritation from the new Relief Sun Aqua - Fresh?
I am looking to purchasing it, as it has no niacinamide and contains panthenol, which my skin loves (also I am just a rice fun, for some reason, I can't resist a product that has rice in it).

Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Exosome Shot Serum 7500

Have you guys tried this?

The needle part feels weird… I’m not sure what I think about that part… but wow the results are insane.

Is Medicube Safe?

I now have access to adult money 🤣 … so i thought id start my glow up journey so ive started with my skin. I bought medicube: pore pads, mud mask and the “filler stick”. I am now really anxious that the PDRN Pink stick balm will actually do more harm than good and ive seen a scandal related to sudan red. Any advice and knowledge is accepted thank you.

Also only just found out its a really hated brand so just need some guidance

Should I lighten my eyebrows?

I haven’t liked how dark my eyebrows are for a while now; I feel it makes my features look less soft. Could you please recommend a product that isn’t too harsh on the skin on my face, or a technique to make them less dark? 😭

I’m a bit undecided, but I’ve noticed that it suits a lot of girls. Maybe I’ll go a shade or two lighter, nothing more. I don’t want a radical change.

Advice on my makeup?

I'd like any advice on how to improve my makeup. Treat me as complete beginner. Picture 1-2 is how I usually do my makeup. Someone did my makeup for picture 3. She did fantastic and did warm colors as I requested but I don't think it suits me nor my features.

I think a Light Summer, or at least Summer in general. Two professional makeup artists have said I'm cool-toned. I've always felt like light makeup suits me best but feel free to tell me wrong. Here's what I used on pic 1-2:

  1. Zoom by Jung Saem Mool Satin Fit Spatula Foundation 23 Medium

  2. Wakemake Soft Blurring Lavender Eye Palette No. 4

  3. Dasique Blending Mood Cheek #07 Candy Berry (didn't know what warm and cool tone difference is when I got this!)

  4. The Saem Cover Perfection Fixealer 1 Clear Beige

  5. Kose Make Keep Mist Setting Spray

  6. Colorgram Fruity Glass Tint Milk - 07 Plop Fig

  7. Rom&nd Lip Matte Pencil 05 Taupey Shade

I definitely need to do my eyebrows and maybe add eyeliner, but it's been so hard to do the latter and it keeps flaking/melting off. I live in 80+% hot and humid area.

So my questions:

  1. *Any* advice for my makeup?

  2. What kind of makeup compliments my facial features?

  3. Do you know any content creators on any platform that's similar to me or whose makeup would suit me?

  4. What to do with my eyebrow? I know I should tweeze/wax some parts, but what to do for the makeup

I didn't realize I'm wearing a filter when taking these pictures but I hope it's acceptable enough to give feedback on!

How do I make my features pop out more? Or should I stick to a diff style?

I feel like there’s something missing. I really like the uzzlang makeup appearance and the toasted look but I feel like I’m missing something…

Whenever I take pictures it just looks like nothing to me

(Not in order) This is my products:
Dior matte foundation
NARS concealer only under eyes
Judydoll liquid black eyeliner
Eyebrows are concealed and straightly drawn
Eye makeup is Smokey with obvious aegyeosal (which I prefer to be showing) - Romand dusty fog garden palette and Dasique violet knit
Rare beauty blush in shade adora and peripera in a peach shade
Powder Laura Mercier
All day fixx setting spray
YSL lip stick

I do not want to contour

If it helps I’m a light spring

Should I stick to a different makeup style to compliment my features?

I’d love to hear your thoughts about Shea butter

What do you think about shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii butter) being included in a moisturizer or other skincare product intended for oily skin? Does it actually make the product feel too heavy or greasy, or have you personally found it to be non-comedogenic and well tolerated?

I’m particularly interested in your personal experience with products containing shea butter, including whether you noticed any increase in clogged pores, closed comedones, or breakouts.

Can you recommend me a contour so cold like this?

Every time I tried a contour it looked like bronzer on me. Because I’m so pale and have cold undertone on my skin color. So I can’t find the one. Please help me 🥺

bbia greyish vs judydoll palette

hey! i’m looking for a true cool tone powder contour.

i’m neutral/cool toned (1N00 makeup forever) but hate a bronzed look, im very pale and it just doesn’t suit me. im looking to pair it with the ABH contour stick in halftone.

a lot of kbeauty contour powders look very sheer to me as well, so i’m also looking for something with more colour.

atm i have it narrowed down to these 2 but would happily take suggestions :)

how to get a hydrated and dewy look instead of oily and cakey one?

my makeup often looks textured, gets oily fast, and to manage the oils, i have to apply translucent powder on my T zone which later ends up looking bumpy.
- when it comes to skin prep i only use hatomugi skin conditioner and centella sunscreen before foundation
- i usually apply foundation with brush and then drag it down which might be the first mistake instead of tapping it in..
- i often use powdered highlighters, bronzers and blushes which might be the case also

should i start using gel moisturiser and water based products instead? please share your tips!

Help with basic nighttime & daytime skincare routine

Hey guys! I’m not much of a skincare/makeup person, but want to up my skincare routines.

currently i only use whatever hand soap i have to wash my face (i usually don’t have makeup to remove) and then i use a CeraVe moisturizer. Round Lab sunstick when i go out.

but i’ve heard about toners, retinols, vitamin Cs, cleansers.

what is the best order to use them in at night/in the morning?

i‘m not sure if i have oily or dry skin. When i wake up in the mornings, my skin is usually oily especially around my nose and forehead. But after i wash my face, i must quickly put on moisturizer as i feel my face drying. So maybe i have dry skin?

any advice on skincare steps as well as products you use would be appreciated:)))

Shampoo without menthol for balancing hair

Do you have a nice shampoo to recommend, without methol or mint (I hate the cooling sensation) for oily hair that needs a balancing shampoo. My favorite (not k-beauty) is the vegamor balancing shampoo, but I want to try something else. Thank you.

Unique Korean under-eye patch review

Korean eye patches are everywhere right now. I love buying the ones that look interesting and actually testing them out, and honestly some of them are still pretty solid.

Here are a few unique or effective ones I’ve tried recently!

  1. Dr.Melaxin Calcium Volume Under Eye Patches
These have calcium in them. Apparently calcium isn’t just for eating. When it’s in skincare it can help with skin regeneration and barrier recovery. The effects aren’t crazy dramatic, but the cooling feels nice and they seem pretty good for sunken under-eyes.

  2. EIOM Botide Under Eye Patches
These caught my attention because they claim to have 20 different peptides. They also have this “Botide” ingredient which is supposedly a botox-based peptide. When I actually used them the plumping effect was pretty immediate. They’re not irritating at all, so I stick them under my eyes during the day and then use them on my neck lines or smile lines at night. This is the one I’ve been reaching for the most lately.

  3. MEDIHEAL Retinol Collagen Capsule Eye Patches
Most eye patches only cover a tiny area which always feels a bit disappointing. These are bigger so they can cover a wider zone. They have retinol, collagen, and caffeine, but they’re surprisingly gentle. No typical retinol irritation at all.

Anyone else tried any of these? Or got other Korean eye patch recs that actually work?

Help me narrow down my list

I have combo dehydrated skin and am 40. My concerns are anti-aging, fine lines, red blotchyness on my cheeks, hydrating, and dark under eye circles.

I am trying to cut down this list to one cleanser, toner, serum, spf, moisturizer, eye cream.

Please tell me pros and cons of any of these products.

Thank you!
