Turning 30 and want to swap for K-Beauty. Help! 😭

Hey guys! I'm turning 30 soon and my skincare routine has literally just been CeraVe my whole life 🥲 i really
want to upgrade to K-beauty for that healthy glow, but
I'm super overwhelmed, there are soooo many options.
My skin is combination, and my main issues are occasional acne, stubborn blackheads, and dark under-eye circles (I think they are vascular, they look kinda purple/bluish)
Where should I even start? What are your holy grail products for combo skin/dark circles?

Skin1004 is overrated!

Idk if it’s just me who feels this way but skin1004 is overrated! Only there toners and cleansers are decent other than they all are mid. And how no one says anything about there sunscreen leaving white cast! Which was such a let down for me when I first tried there hyalu cica sun serum and even it leaves a white cast tho it settles down fast I hate that they say it doesn’t leave any white cast, and the trend where Korean sunscreen doesn’t leave white cast and they put on a huge amount at last we can see the creator blending it hard for that white cast to settle down and same goes for the tea-trica one! I haven’t tried the other one but I remember seeing a creator with dark skin tone showing the white cast and people kept saying it’s fake which kind of pissed me off. Also there moisturizer was not so great none of them worked out for me and I have tried there 4 different type and still a no. There ampoule I only tried 2 one was brightening one which gave no result and the second was tea-trica which gave me pimples. As for the cleanser and toner they are great not so much of a wow product tho I don’t like there toner pads cuz it gave me tiny bumps. That’s all I have to say and all of this is my own honest opinion and I’m sure many of people love there products but for me it was a huge letdown especially after all these hypes.

Is one of them a fake Round lab spf?

I’ve been using the one on the right and recently ordered another one on sale but it looks so different that it seems like a fake one.

Oil Cleanser Recs

Looking for recommendations for everyone’s favorite oil cleanser. I’ve been using Beauty of Joseon’s oil cleanser for over a year. I don’t have any issues with it but I don’t love the smell. When I started using K-beauty, I used BOJ products exclusively after they were recommended to me. While some of me go to products are from BOJ, I have started exploring other brands and products more, and I have built a pretty solid skincare routine. Now I am wondering if there’s a better oil cleanser out there, or if this is still a pretty solid product to stick to!

Lash Lift + Black Eyelash Serum?

Do those of you who get lash lifts regularly still wear mascara afterward?

My lashes have been falling out a lot lately, so I switched to using a black eyelash serum instead.

Do you think it’s actually making a difference? I’d love to hear your honest opinions!

It’s not waterproof, so it comes off pretty easily with just water, which is a bit of a downside. But my lashes feel healthier overall, so I’m really liking it so far.

If you have any better recommendations or tips, please let me know! I’m still pretty new to makeup and figuring things out, so if this helps anyone else going through the same thing, that would be awesome. 😂✨

Cleansing Oil & Cleanser Recommendation Combo/Sensitive Skin

Hello!

I am looking for some cleansing oil and cleanser recommendations for combo, sensitive skin.

I recently tried the Anua Heartleaf cleansing oil, and I believe that messed with my skin barrier. After using it, my cheeks got really blotchy and red. They have been very sensitive and dry as well. I have been using Centellian 24 Cream to help with that (if there's anything better, let me know please!). I have also been looking into getting the Aestura Atobarrier 365 cream.

I wanted to start with the cleansers as I transition to a new routine to not overwhelm my skin. I have been using OSEA Cleansing Milk in the morning, Tatcha Camellia Cleansing Oil + OSEA Ocean Cleanser in the evening.

Thank you!

Me and my husband’s skincare routine 2

Thank you so much for all the love on the last gel mask post with my husband lol. The comments were so funny that He’s lowkey enjoying this now 😂 (He’s not usually into slapping stuff on his face but he actually got a kick out of reading the reactions too!)

We used Biodance again, it’s my favorite gel mask. A lot of you asked about it last time so I’m sharing!

This time I gave him a full sheet instead of the leftover scraps. He’s normally the type to flat-out refuse anything like this, but for some reason he actually let me put it on him without complaining. He still said “two little pieces were enough for me” lol.

Please help me with my current routine

I’m 20 yo and i have dry skin my main fear is aging. I am using this skincare routine every other night. ( i meant retinal). After i apply retinal i put on a thick layer of purito moisturiser. I am thinking about including PDRN serum or cream in my skincare routine instead of purito moisturiser. So one night would look like:
1- centella cleansing oil
2. Toner
3. Retinal
4. PDRN
And the other night when i don’t use retinal:
1- centella cleansing oil
2- toner
3. Purito moisturiser

Do you guys think that is a good idea? I need recommendations 🙏🏼

Trying to fake fuller lips with lip liner :)

I’ve been trying to overline my thin lips lately to give them a bit more volume without actually getting lip fillers.

I used a lip liner slightly overline, and then added a gloss on top.

How does it look? Does it look natural or too obvious?

Also, if you have any holy grail makeup tips or routines for making thin lips look plumper, please share them with me!

Have I brought a fake?

Hi guys just wondering if Haruharu wonder has recently ch aged the packaging for their black rice moisture daily sunscreen. I brought a duo set from Amazon (left side) and noticed it looked different to the one I got from yesstyle (right side).
The packaging for sunscreen brought from yesstyle is more yellow than the one I got from Amazon. It also has less writing than one from Amazon.

I didn’t know Amazon were allows to sell fakes so pls let me know if this looks real or not.

Oily skin hot weather help

I am wasian, so I dabble in Asian beauty because of the undertones provided, I am acne prone with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and get oily during the day so usually bake to keep makeup in place and for coverage.

With the hot weather in the UK, it’s not just the oil, but also sunscreen and sweat that I’m battling against, I see that k beauty always seems to hold up in the Asian hot weather, but they seem to use very little powder, does the skin then feel sticky all day? How do you set it in place without it moving.

Just looking for some genuine advise please and thank you 🫶🏻
