Maybe Justin just couldn’t formulate the thought but I’m not sure why he didn’t go out in a blaze of glory and defend himself. As lazy as he became, he should’ve knocked Kirk out of his ivory tower he lives in thinking he’s some amazing boss. He’s a dogshit boss. Cool dude, you would let your producers take personal time at the drop of a hat. He is about to hire a 6th producer in 7 years and he thinks he’s a dream boss. It is utterly delusional.

And this idea that he wants a producer who will end up making 50k, to come in and think KMS 24/7, is hilarious. In a vacuum it’s one of the worst jobs imaginable. No matter what you do, you will be told your work fucking sucks. I cannot believe these morons do not have the balls as men to tell Kirk he is an absolute bitch for harboring ill will over comments made about him over a year ago.

What kind of person puts pressure on a loser like Justin that they've dated for a few months to have a kid with them? Mary was the first real girlfriend he'd ever had. She knew he could get a loser like him to do whatever she wanted. For her to make that kind of ultimatum on him is pretty evil IMO.

When Justin ultimately finds no role/wont move to Chicago or New York and runs out of paternity leave what happens then? He will say hey Kirk I’m ready to come back to work and will Kirk then fire him? No so that will be interesting.

I’ve been re-listening to 2022 and I’m getting near the end of the year. Jay has been recurring for years and has somehow gotten slightly less crazy (even called today). Does anyone know his deal? Is it just a long running bit, does the YouTube/live show crowd have more context or is the guy just literally insane?

Justin, we all know you read the subreddit. A serious plea.

Either find a new job, or stop pouting like a little baby on the show. If you are going to stay for the paycheck and insurance, then be a grown up and do your job and act like you're on the show. If you are gonna sit there and read area codes, then ask your dad to get you a job at the police station as a desk worker. Don't ruin the show you used to love.

Is he just going to sit there and get shit on everyday? Where is the tough guy pushback on Kirk and callers. He is just pathetic now, all he says is zip codes when there are callers. That’s his final responsibility. Just leave Justin have some pride.

I was really hoping we had reached a breaking point with Justin and something would change yesterday but it was just the same back and forth between him and Kirk. I cannot stand Justin and his constant indifference and lack of accountability, but at this point it’s on Kirk. Everyone agrees on Justin and just because Justin has a kid, doesn’t mean he should be kept on. Many people have kids and still are very good at their jobs. You’d think has to come to a head at some point in the next few months, really thought it’d be the fallout of this live show.

I think he’s by far the best third chair. He’s so much more comfortable now, he light heartedly gives Kirk shit, takes shit from Kirk the best of any third chair and is actually pretty funny with how dumb he is. I only started listening the last few years so could be missing a third chair from the early days but i don’t think anyone else is better.
