There are quite a few resources/discussions on the translation of their lyrics from Gaeilge to English, but are there any native/fluent speakers who could translate some of their English lyrics for people like me who are learning the language? Specifically a line from Smugglers and Scholars that I can't get out of my head:

"You think it's all poetry and clovers when it's raincoats and police landrovers"

Even more specifically, just "poetry and clovers" in that context. I've got an idea for some art but need to ensure it's grammatically correct. Would it be:

"dánta agus seamair"

or

"filíocht agus seamair"

or something else entirely?

I've had a sleuth and this is what i've found:

These venues are out as they're ready booked

- barras
- ⁠SWG3 (but they're too big for this i'd argue)
- ⁠concert hall (not really their vibe)
- ⁠garage (also too big for a headline full tour)

These venues are free that day:

- the Hydro
- ⁠armadillo
- ⁠king tuts (but again they're too big for that)
- ⁠O2 academy (also arguably too big?

Cant think where else they could possibly play.

My verdict is it'll be the Hydro. Any other thoughts?
