Homemade Rajma Rice every weekend in Koramangala

Hey guys

I recently moved to Bangalore, and one thing I really miss about back home is cooking for my friends on the weekends. It’s always been my absolute favorite hobby, but ever since I got here, my kitchen has been way too quiet.
I really wanted to fix that, so I thought why not just try cooking for people here?

This Sunday (August 16), I’m making a comforting batch of Rajma Rice. It’s completely homemade, made with a lot of love, and super hygienic. If you've been craving some proper comfort food and want to try a bowl. I’d be charging ₹299 per meal (delivery included).
I'm based in Koramangala. Just drop a comment or DM me if you're around and want to grab a bowl!

If you can visit my house and bring a box, I’d be happy to give you the food in the same. Or else I will be sending through porter.

M26 (SG Palya) – Pub newbie looking for a partner/first-timer to explore Koramangala pubs tonight (Aug 12)!

Hey everyone,

I recently moved to SG Palya and have been taking in the Koramangala nightlife vibes. I've actually never been to a pub before (classic introvert here), but I'm really keen on checking out the scene for the first time.

Since most popular Koramangala pubs have strict couple-only entry rules on busy nights (or charge steep stag cover fees), I'm looking for a fellow female first-timer or anyone who wants a chill buddy to explore the scene with tonight.

When: Tonight, Aug 12 (roughly 7:00 PM to 10:00/11:00 PM).

Where: Koramangala (open to suggestions for good beginner-friendly spots!).

Vibe: Strictly friendly, low-pressure meet-and-greet, grab some food/drinks, and figure out the pub scene together.

If you're in a similar boat, free tonight, and down to explore, feel free to drop a comment or send a DM! Would like to share bill as well 😉

Please avoid RAPIDPIX bike service centre at the Indian Oil petrol bunk in Koramangala 8th Block

I want to share my experience so that others can avoid making the same mistake I did.

There is a bike service centre called RAPIDPIX at the Indian Oil petrol bunk, opposite the Passport Office in Koramangala 8th Block. I was curious about their service, so I enquired and eventually gave my bike for a general service. I had already changed the engine oil just 2 weeks ago, so I specifically told them that I only wanted a general service and did not need an engine oil change.

They told me the service would take around 30–45 minutes, so I decided to sit there and watch. Honestly, within a few minutes of them starting the work, I became concerned. The mechanics did not appear experienced to me. They were figuring out basic things like how to remove the engine oil cap and even arguing among themselves about which bolt to remove.

Things got worse when they started working around the rear wheel and chain. One mechanic loosened the wheel/axle bolt, after which the chain became loose. He then tried to fix the chain tension, but couldn't seem to figure it out. When I asked him, "Bhai, kya kar rahe ho?", he couldn't properly explain what he was doing. Another mechanic came over and they started tightening and loosening different bolts, but the issue still wasn't properly resolved.

At this point, I became frustrated and asked for the manager's number. They initially didn't give it to me, so I asked the petrol bunk manager for the number. I called the RAPIDPIX manager, but even he wasn't giving me a satisfactory response.

Eventually, they finished the service. However, I could clearly see that the wheel wasn't properly secured and the brake didn't feel properly adjusted. I paid ₹475 for the service and left.

Later, I took the bike to a local mechanic. He checked the bike and told me that the wheel had not been properly fixed and the tyre/wheel alignment was completely wrong. I ended up paying another ₹700 to get the general service and necessary corrections done properly.

So I basically paid ₹475 to RAPIDPIX for a service I wasn't satisfied with, and another ₹700 to fix/re-do the work.

based on what I personally saw and what happened to my bike, I would strongly recommend avoiding this service centre. Please be careful, especially if you're leaving your bike there without watching the work.

📍 Location: RAPIDPIX, Indian Oil petrol bunk, Koramangala 8th Block, opposite the Passport Office, Bengaluru. - https://maps.app.goo.gl/g3rQVYA2QWtnj2Gm9

Sharing this so other bikers in the area can be aware before giving their bikes to this place.

Any good places to hangout in Koramangala except the clubs and pubs?

I am staying near Sony Signal, Koramangala. Every night I go out for a stroll. I have been here since last week, I have not gotten any good places to maybe sit in peace or meet new people. It's always expensive cafes or restaurants.

I want to meet new people, discuss random shit and maybe just random hangouts.

And maybe just maybe we might end up playing badminton on weekends.

I am a M, so creeps stay away. You won't get anything here since I don't have any other friends with me yet.
