Guys be honest how long do you think the applications will be open?? Because I feel like I would have more of a shot if I lost weight but like obviously I need time to do that..... I know it's better to apply early but I weigh 140 so I feel like that's an automatic rejection 💀 what do y'all think.
So I am 17F, I am Indian(born in america). I want to apply to More Vision, but I don't wanna become a Kpop idol. I do sing and dance(I used to do tap, ballet, and now currently musical theater). I thought more vision fitted the vibe, since Jay Park is American himself, and so I thought that he willl be less harsher than other companies. Like he gives more freedoms. I wanted to audition because of that chance I do get accepted then my whole life changes, but it's an easier way to produce music instead of by myself(which I'm currently struggling with). I want to kinda be like Katseye, since they appear to the North American side more. I love Kpop though, but I could never become an idol. I am just asking for opinions though, thank you! I still may apply just as a "why not", but do you think there is a good chance?
Hi! So idk about her but I'm going to audition with dance! I've been doing hip hop for years, but I was never really good ngl. For the last few days, I've been to a kpop dance course and my confidence has been up to the ceiling! I'm also doing so much better. Maybe it's the teacher? Don't know but I'm loving it.
Honestly, my biggest worries are my weight and learning Korean. I learn very fast, depending how, but I'm sure that if I want to learn it so badly, I absolutely will. But my weight is the biggest problem here. I'm 62kg, 5'4. I wouldn't call myself chubby, just curvy with a little plump of stomach and slightly fat arms.
I'm scared that I won't be able to lose the needed weight, whatever it is, but I absolutely want to. I can't have a diet since I live with my parents, and my mom is already worried even though I call myself fat. Well, I'm not but I'm just very insecure and scared.
If y'all have tips please give them! I also know how trainee life is hard, and beyond that, but I want to test it out. If it drains all the life out of me, then it does. Honestly, I'm excited to see if I get in (prolly not ✌). Byee! <3
I went to the NY audition, I know im late 😔, but if someone has questions im glad to answer them.
What should I do? I'm so excited!
I cut out some parts of the song to make the video a little shorter for the audition.
As a guy hoping to audition with a vocal category, it's pretty hard for me to find songs by male artists for auditions. I honestly would have loved it if I could audition with ones by female artists, since I'm really good at a couple, but from what I've heard the success of that is low because the gender doesn't match up I guess?
The ones that I find are too low for my voice or don't have much qualities to them that stand out, like high notes or riffs. The only ones that I could come up with were back to life by HAN and Sagittarius by Wooyoung, but the first is pretty recent and the second requires me knowing Korean, which I am learning right now. Do you have any reccomendations for vocal based songs by male artists?
Or should I just wing it and audition with the songs I've been practicing (BONVOYAGE by Dreamcatcher, DREAM by BABYMONSTER, Superscar by ADELA)?
I recently applied to a K-pop global audition I found online and honestly not expecting anything from it. I ended up getting a callback for an in person audition in the US, which surprised me a lot.
What makes it even more unexpected is that I auditioned just for fun and didn’t take it seriously at first. Also, I wear the hijab, so I didn’t really think I’d even be considered in that kind of space. All I can say is it was one of the Big 4 companies.
I’m not planning to pursue the industry seriously right now, but it was still really cool getting that response and it made me think about it a little differently. I’m still unsure about everything, so I’d honestly be open to any advice from people who know more about this space.
If anyone has questions, I don’t mind answering a few :)
Hey y’all
There is this entertainment company which recently opened like the second phase of their auditions for a global girl group. My sister auditioned but she’s getting nerves over here and I just wanna know if there is anyone who also auditioned recently for this company and if they got a response already.
I apologize if this isn’t a good place to post this! but I figured people who post on this forum will get DMs like this.
I just wanted to share this because I did not fall for it but others might. Not sure what it would have led to, probably something inappropriate. If you get a DM like this, please be careful! A kpop scout will be professional, and I assume share which company they’re from, their email, etc. lastly, a kpop scout is probably not on Reddit & private messaging people.
Just wanted everyone to be aware of messages like these, they are very likely not authentic ^^
Ok so I am trying to audition to a kpop company with Enhypens Polaroid love, but I dont know what the song is trying to portray. Like what I need to show on my face and all. Can someone please help me?
Has anyone gotten a reply yet? 🥹starting to think im not going to get accepted

Hi guys! Any advice for how to do a minute long dance audition for someone with no formal training? I want to do the Girls Planet 2 audition because there's finally no upper age limit!! I discovered the world of k-pop so late....anyway, singing is my strength but I can move my body well. I'm hispanic so I know basic merengue, bachata, salsa, cumbia, all that jazz that helps me move my body. But idk what to do for this minute long video...any help or tips??
Would just looking up choreo videos and using random people's choreo be considered stealing? I could always message them to ask permission. Orrrr choreograph my own dance??
Hi everyone so on Instagram I came across this link where they claimed to hold auditions for global girl group auditions.. so I wanna ask is it legit??? Did any of u auditioned here!?? And how was it!??? I mean they've 1k followers tho and their address is mentioned aswell (idk if its real because I don't live in America)... So please tell me if any of u have auditioned and how was it !!????
For context I am a 16 year old male guitarist of European heritage. I can also sing (pretty well I think since my friends who have achieved high accomplishments in relation to singing have said I'm good). I submitted a few applications to JYP, SM, ADOR, PLEDIS and Retopia Salon just to see what happens, but I kind of want to know if I have any serious potential. I don't have a ton of experience dancing but I know I can learn fast. Also, since a lot of agencies are looking for international talent now, I figured I could have a shot.
I have performed in front of hundreds of people on stage and have engaged in public speaking regularly. I really do have a passion for music and I think I could potentially really thrive in the music industry.
If you want me to attach pictures/audio of my singing then do ask, thanks. I would like some help understanding my chances, thanks.
