Still can't post on main as far as I know so sorry if this escapes the core of the sub and if anyone is too tired of hearing this.

I was thinking back on how badly Suselle was handled, as one does, specifically how the most damaging part was Susie being into Noelle from the start, and how during Chapter 1, with what we know now, Noelle would have been Susie's most important person and she would care for her just as much as she does Kris and Ralsei now, which just felt weird

Then I took that in mind as I recalled other moments when Susie went over her past, and how it compared to now, how she was treated before, etc

In every single one of those moments, as far as my memory is concerned at least, she never actually brings up Noelle as a major influence, only Kris, Ralsei, even Toriel

Even her comments of that era fit her CH1 self, and they never account for her apparent crush and care for Noelle, which would have been there by then.

The only times she alludes to Noelle's importance and said care for her, prior to them starting dating

Was already in scenes with Noelle as a focus, either with her there or being the subject of discussion beforehand

Is almost like that drush doesn't exist unless Noelle is around

While Kris's importance is stated all the time, even when she is with Noelle.

Idk if this is done on purpose and something we're meant to realize after Toby does something with it, or is just another fault of the writing

What you guys think? Let me know if I missed a moment that counters and invalidates this.

Personally, I think that creators almost never back down on a relationship that they have been developing.

I don't see Toby taking time to develop a breakup at this point with only 2 chapters left. And yeah, Kris likes Susie but I don't feel that Toby will do anything with it, it feels more like one more excuse to justify Kris's plot. (I hope i'm wrong)
